Our guide James was excellent and really adapted to how the kids were feeling and what they seemed interested in. Highly recommend James if you have kids. Also line was huge and James saved us easily an hour wait in line.

We loved our guide, Jared. He was very engaging and our boys (ages 14 and 11) really enjoyed The MET because Jared was so knowledgeable and fun. He found ways in every are to show the boys something of interest to them. Jared was a great listener and his conversations with our boys helped them be better observers of art. We highly recommend this tour for families visiting NYC.

We did a tour so our kids could would be more interested , was hoping for a kid friendly guide that was fun and outgoing. Our guide was serious and corrected our kids on thier listening skills multiple times, when they would just step away a couple feet and look around. A kid friendly guide could have made it so much more fun and interesting. Very disappointed for the amount of money we paid.

Honestly I would skip it with children. Our guide wasn't flexible on his tour or able to answer any questions and the kids were not engaged at all. We have been on several tours, but this was not adequate for kids.

Our tour guide was not particularly engaging with our kids. The security line (skip the line line) was as long as the real line. Not worth the extra money. Was hoping to engage our kids for this money.

Our guide, Jared, had such a vast knowledge of and several personal stories/behind the scenes anecdotes about the museum that were so interesting. He was prepared to entertain and inform older kids and adults alike who already knew a lot about the Met. Our family learned so many new things about one of our favorite places.

1st visit for 8, 10 & 14 year old. 2.5 hours. We all loved the exhibits he showed us and we all learned things and had fun. Hate to think of vacations in terms of efficiency, but wow, did we use our time well with Jared.

We could not have been happier with our personalized family tour with Jared. He customized our route exactly according to the interests and whims of our two boys ages 13 and 9 and my husband and I. I explained our sons enjoyed Greek Mythology, have a limited knowledge of Impressionists and Renaissance but we hope to inspire a deeper appreciation for art in general. However, when they were enthralled with the Medieval art section, Jared was quick to adept and equally as knowledgeable and engaging for an area not on the list. Jared was excellent at encouraging questions and leading where the interest lie. He provided interesting back stories on the artists themselves and the message of the art itself. Exactly what we had hoped for. When the boys weren't any where near ready to leave after 2.5 hours, we considered the tour a smashing success.
