I went to see the other show a few years back. I find this show to be better with more engaging with audience. Plus the venue is small and cozy.

I am very very disappointed since the tickets 🎫 were resold (or whatever) and I didn’t get to see the show. It was ‘fully booked’.
It was supposed to be our last evening show in Hanoi. So.
Bad experience - I’ll never use and trust this tripadvisor website again.

The show was fabulous and we are glad we saw it. Definitely need to book ahead but don’t book the deluxe tickets. We did and got seated in the general area. No moving when I raised it! Disappointed to have paid way more then necessary

Definitely a very good cultural experience in Hanoi. Fun for children and adults. Not too long a show with some funny bits. Highly recommend if you are in Hanoi and looking for something different to do in the evenings!

Bought the tickets from trip.com for Vdn 220k per person for standard seats but when we redeem the tickets at Lotus we saw the standard seats are only Vdn 80k. If u have time, try to go earlier to buy the tickets directly at Lotus.

This was a fun show, puppeteers are very skilled. There are a number of ‘stories’ making up the 50 minute show. Screens with description of the scenes in English and French are displayed giving description of each story.
In all, very enjoyable and worthwhile example of traditional Vietnamese storytelling.

Entertaining show even if we couldn't understand the language. This sentence is to satisfy the 100 character requirement.

Water pupetry is a beautiful art form that has disappeared throughout much of Vietnam. Visitors will get a far deeper sense of the story if you buy a programme as well as the entrance ticket, so this is something I highky recommend.

I found the water puppet show enjoyable, but I'm dissatisfied with Viator. I paid USD15 per person for Deluxe seats, yet received tickets for USD4 standard seats. The front desk mentioned Viator had only ordered standard seats. The ordering platform seems irresponsible, and I received neither a refund nor any notification about the change. Viator did not provide the service as I paid for.
