The meeting point is at P3 in Hohenschwangau at 9:10 am. GPS (Alpseestrasse 1, 87645 Hohenschwangau). Please wait next to the P3 sign. Your guide will meet you there. By Bus from Füssen: take bus 78 to Hohenschwangau and the bus will stop just across from the meeting point.

Stop At: Schloss Neuschwanstein, Neuschwansteinstrasse 20, 87645 Schwangau, Bavaria Germany
Visit the popular Neuschwanstein Castle on this guided, 3 hour tour from Hohenschwangau. This “skip-the-line” ticket allows for quick access to the inside of the medieval masterpiece for a guided walking tour. Neuschwanstein Castle was one of three palaces built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and would eventually become the inspiration for the castle in Disney’s movie Sleeping Beauty. After the tour, enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride down to the village of Hohenschwangau. Then take a leisurely stroll around scenic Lake Alpsee and enjoy the rest of your day.

In harsh weather conditions the bus to Mary's bridge might not be operating and you'll have to walk to the castle

Please note that we have only our meeting point in Hohenschwangau Village
Your confirmation is not the ticket for the castle, it will not be accepted at the castle or the ticket center. Your guide will give you the official tickets for the Neuschwanstein castle.
Please note that as long as the shuttle is not running, we will have to walk up to the castle.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Our guide was exceptional, giving a bit of history, pointing out highlights, making seamless transitions, a wonderful experience. Loved the culminating horse carriage ride, too!

We loved all the historical information we learned from Amir as well as the photo opportunities prior to arrival in the castle. It was a haul from Munich but well worth it. And despite an unexpected fire alarm that caused us to evacuate for about 45 minutes, we had a great time. Highly recommend the early tour before the crowds.

Caroline was a dream!! Witty, dry and so fun to listen to. I thought her knowledge of castle and Ludwig was far more interesting than anything we learned in the castle!! My husband won some trivia and that won us over! The bus ride up was helpful and we loved the carriage ride down. I wish she could have done the entire tour.

The tour guide was very interesting and knowledgable. It was GREAT to have the shuttle bus up the hill. Everything ran on time. The four star is for the castle itself. It is a total tourist trap and doesn't even have a lot of the original work still inside. If you must see the castle, this tour is great. If you can skip it, I would.
