Waste is time and the tickets from this site are really expensive.
Buy from the ticket office itself

Loved it. The water puppet show was an all out entertainment and one of the best examples of Vietnamese art. The musicians and puppeteers were very talented and kept us entertained with their art till the end.
Highly recommend.

There is only one ticket desk at the theater but when someone us in line and saw our voucher, they gave us our tickets so we could go in early. The seats were on row D so very close which makes a big difference. The show was very good. Highly recommend.

Do not buy these tickets from Trip Advisor. Was more than twice as expensive as buying from the ticket booth. Paid $90 for "VIP" tickets when they were being sold at the ticket counter for 1M VND or ~$40. Don't know why they call it 'Skip the line' - still had to wait in line to have someone come out of the side of the ticket booth to hand us our tickets.

Show is wonderful. Great music, fun puppetry. The agents need signs so you know where to get your tickets. We "skipped the line" but we're one of the last to enter bc we couldn't find the agent.

The show itself is 100% worth going to. You do not need to buy tickets through Viator, you can simply walk up to the ticket window to purchase tickets. If you purchase tickets online, you have the comfort of knowing the show will not sell out and you can get a good seat. We had great seats and the show would have been sold out had we not bought in advance, so I am not upset we purchased here.

Really great show! Even though I opted not to rent an audio guide, I felt I understood the stories pretty easily. The puppeteers are so skilled, and I loved hearing a style of music I didn’t know anything about before.
But please, if you go: don’t film it! Some people were filming with their iPads and it’s so disrespectful to the performers and distracting for the audience 😭😭

The show was Great!! Don’t waste your money buying tickets on here. Just go to the theater early and purchase them there. We paid for the VIP first few rows and are seats weren’t even together. They have shows throughout the day, I recommend just going to the theater and seeing what times and seats they have open. The tickets on here cost way more than the original and it’s not worth it.

My recent purchase of puppet theatre tickets through Viator left me deeply disappointed. Not only were the tickets exorbitantly priced, but the promised perk of "skip the queue" seemed to be nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
Firstly, the tickets purchased on Viator were more than double the price compared to purchasing them directly at the venue. This price gouging was already disheartening, but I was willing to overlook it for the convenience of skipping the queue.
However, upon arrival at the puppet theatre, there was no designated queue for those who had purchased tickets through Viator. In fact, we ended up waiting in line just like everyone else, with no special treatment whatsoever. It became apparent that the "skip the queue" feature was nonexistent.
This experience has left me feeling cheated and frustrated. Not only did I pay significantly more for the tickets, but I also didn't receive the promised benefit. I would caution others against purchasing tickets through Viator for this particular attraction, as it seems to offer no added value and only serves to unnecessarily inflate the price.

Something really different and very interesting. The puppetry was clever, the musicians excellent and mostly very well organized. We got there early after buying tickets online and there was no information about skipping the line so we lined up. Just as we got to the end of the queue there appeared someone to deal with pre- purchased tickets. So we needn’t have got there early - our mistake.
Get an audio guide which cost around 5 aussie dollars for 2 as you won’t know what it’s about.
All up a great 50 minute entertainment.
