A must if visiting Rome. Our tour guide Deborah of Maya Tours was wonderful so knowledgeable and managed to get our tour group through the throngs of other visitors whilst still passing on her incredible knowledge of the Vatican. The architecture of the Vatican is beyond words. Well worth a visit.

It was wonderful to see the sights within this Vatican tour. The best part of this tour was that it was guided by our guide Maggie, a joyous sincerely knowledgeable person who embodies the kind open hearted spirit of the current leadership, Pope Francis. It was easy to find our meeting location and everything proceeded smoothly according to plan. I loved listening to Maggie as she enlightened us to so many meaningful artistic, interesting highlights along the way. Thanks for this wonderful experience!

Debra very knowledgeable and informative. Very passionate about what she wanted us to know. We were uncomfortable with her rudeness to others that were not in our tour. She did want us to get the most out of what she was teaching us

I’m glad we bought the skip the line+tour passes instead of going on our own because we were able to see the main sights at the Vatican while keeping good time. We didn’t want it to take over 2 1/2 hours and it was right on time. Our tour guide (Triana? Tiana? Sorry I can’t remember!) was friendly and helped us steer through the crowds. Be careful of the birds - we got pooped on but I’m sure it’s good luck. (Maybe bring a hat!)

Had an amazing tour with Christina! She was so knowledgeable about the history and could go into detail about every artefact we saw. She also planned the tour perfectly, so we never felt rushed or crowded, which is impressive considering how busy the Vatican got! On top of the great tour, she was also really friendly and gave us great recommendations for lunch!

The tour itself and the organization system for getting everyone in and staying together was excellent. Umberto was our guide and he was knowledgeable, well spoken, kind and funny. Excellent experience with Maya tours and I recommend this booking.

A truly remarkable experience visiting the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Nothing quite prepares you for the beauty, wonder and majesty of the art created in these extraordinary places. A visit everyone should make. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and fun. Skip the line is well worth it even though you do join a moving queue but you are in the museum before you know it and the tour guide gives you information about the Vatican before you start so it all seems like part of the tour. The only disappointment was we were unable to enter the Basilica in this particular day as children from all over Italy were attending a huge service with the Pope and there were larger than usual crowds. But it all added to the atmosphere and we will just have to return one day to experience the wonder of the Basilica. Overall, an incredible experience I will never forget.
