Wayyyyyyyyy overcrowded!!!! We waited close to 3 hours in the scorching sun for maybe a 15 second zip line…not worth it!!! With that being said, the views on top of the mountain were amazing and the bartenders made some excellent drinks. All-in-all, I would not waste my time on this excursion…not worth the price or your time!!!

Called and emailed two days prior to see if the anticipated high winds would affect the experience. No return call or email. Was not a weekend or holiday. The day of waited 4 hours up top to go down Flying Dutchman. Very hot- no places where you could get shade. They only sent a few people down Flying Dutchman. When we asked the employees why they said they didn’t know what was going on. After four hours they announced the devices didn’t work and we all had to take the chair lift back down. People were freaking out because they were going to miss their cruise ship departure. When I asked about a receipt or something to get my money back (approx $300 for 3 people) they said they don’t give receipts we should just trust them. We’ll see…

Booked this as a cruise excursion, and were not disappointed. The coach took about 15 mins to arrive, and we were told by the friendly staff where to queue, and what to do. My wife, being slight, found it challenging to jump backwards onto her seat whilst the chair was moving. It took about 25 minutes to reach the top which my wife found quite unnerving due to the height of the safety bar. When at the top though, the views are amazing, and was worth the trip up, and down. Overall, we had a lovely time, and would recommend going on the Sky Explorer.

My husband booked this for us as an excursion during our cruise. I was most terrified and was definitely facing a huge fear of mine. The gondola ride was probably the scariest part. The zip line was a blast and I would do it again. The staff were incredible and out my fears to rest. One thing I would’ve liked was to be able to purchase a video afterwards. We did get photos but would’ve definitely spent the money on a video as well.

Great views over the bays and over the airport area. I did the climb on foot. The path is not signposted and starts a little to the right of the valley station, outside the official area. You simply stay below the chairlift. Very steep in places, but no problem with good footwear. It took me about 25 minutes each way (male, 69 years old). I was allowed to enter all platforms without an entrance ticket. So if you don't want to use the rollercoasters, you'll also get your money's worth.

My husband and I have been on 20+ excursions and this was the worst BY FAR. We've really never had a bad experience. I read reviews unfortunately too late to switch to something else. We had booked through the cruise directly and hoped that would make a difference compared to some of the other reviews we had read. Our visit was March 12, 2024. I'll try to keep this short, but even navigating to the bus and the bus experience was ridiculous. There were multiple groups and on one hand they were trying to keep the groups separate and on the other hand they said it didn't matter because we were all going to the same place. We're just trying to follow directions. Chaos and confusion was at its finest and we had just begun. Once at the property we were directed, along with several other people, to leave all loose items and backpacks behind. They were not allowed on the zipline. Again, there were MANY different groups because they had other activities, but I understood to find a locker, so I went to follow directions. We got a locker and deposited EVERYTHING in the locker. Phones, money, all loose items. We were following directions. But there were only a small number of lockers and there were HUNDREDS of people, so I definitely did question the logic here. But I'm a rule follower, and the rules I did follow. We waited in line for about 30 minutes to take the skylift UP the mountain. This was about a 30 minute or so ride up. It was beautiful. Bummer we didn't have our phones. It was also hot and I was missing my hat and water. No worries, I'm sure we'll be back down soon enough. Once at the top, more gorgeous views, but again, bummer for us. All loose items were left down below. But we appeared to be the only idiots that followed directions. Then we were directed to sign in. We were then told to relax by the bar until they call us. Relax. In the hot sun (no shade anywhere), barely a spot to sit down. For at least, we were told, 2 hours. It was more than 2 hours. An hour in I became worried about dehydration. It was HOT. My kids are 13 and 18. No money, nothing. So stupid. I found a passenger on our ship and asked if she could loan me money and promised to find her later and pay her back. She graciously gave me cash so that I could buy two bottles of water for my family of 4. I've never had to ask for money from a stranger before. I asked the employees and they suggested we take the skylift back down to retriever our belongings. 30 minutes down, 30 minute line. 30 minutes back up, rejoin the line at the end. Excellent suggestion. Thank you so much to the staff. The zipline itself is motor controlled. Do not buy into the hype that it's the steepest zipline in the world. It doesn't matter if you are when you are MOTOR controlled. It was SLOW and lame at best. It was absolutely NOT worth the money paid. Choose something else. Choose anything else. Once we retrieved our belongings we pointed out all the signage and explained what we had been told and why do the signs indicate for people to lock up their belongings if everyone keeps everything. She said all we had to do was ask and they would have told us. Hmm. I'll keep that in mind next time an employee directly tells me to do something. Rule followers always lose.

The views were absolutely beautiful a memorable trip! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The Carribbean rum certainly helped from the bar with my fear of heights!

Amazing views of the island. The leisurely chair lift is a fantastic way to take the sights. The Flying Dutchman is breathtaking but not for the faint-hearted

We only did the zip line. The views were amazing but I wish they'd have said they did not allow Go-Pro recording on the way down. I'd have gladly paid to use theirs or whatever they offer (if they offered it!)
