The lagoon was a wonderful experience. Their food was amazing! Their private lockers were well equipped. I had a blow dryer, a locker that locked so I could keep my valuables, shampoo, conditioner, warm private shower, nice towels, there is no body soap but really after the amazing ritual you should not wash the feel off your body. They have plenty of staff around so never a problem if you have a question. The lagoon and ritual is amazing. So clean and well equipped. Even plastic bags for your wet swimsuit. Things I wish I had known… Bring sunglasses, it’s sunny. Bring a hat or something to protect your ears if they get cold when exposed, it’s windy. There are places to get out of the sun and wind, but some beautiful views require both. And the alcoholic beverages are not very cold, only disappoint of the entire experience. A definite must if you’d like a more adult experience, as they don’t allow children.

Book!! I went as a female solo traveler, its so safe! The views are amazing, and it's not overly expensive. I'd say, you can skip the 7 steps, but honestly it's not much of a big difference if you do it!

Lagoon itself was quite nice, other than the hordes of people taking selfies. Would skip the 7 step ritual - the sauna views were great, but the rest of the steps were a bit like a conveyer belt. Not at all the serene experience I was sold. I did expect the water to be deeper than waist level. An extra 20-30 centimeters would go a long way to make this feel less like a wading pool.

I had a 21-hour layover. In the morning, I took the Skybus into the city and then grabbed the transfer bus for Sky Lagoon. It was sleeting and windy, but it didn't matter. It was amazing. I loved that you enter the water from inside, unlike all of the other hotsprings I visited. It was also easy to find little corners to shield from the wind while I sipped my prosecco. Hot from the neck down and wet hair frozen was THE most amazing feeling. I loved the swim-up bar, and the changerooms were very nice. I only gave it 4 stars because the 7-step ritual felt rushed and crowded, probably due to Blue Lagoon being closed. I will absolutely go back, but I will skip the 7-step ritual and just hang out in the hot water longer. It was so lovely in bad weather than I can't imagine how gorgeous it must be when the sun is out! Being close to the city makes it an easy excursion.

We did both the Sky Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon. Liked Sky Lagoon much more. Better views, cleaner, and it didn’t destroy my hair!

Unbelievable experience. DEFINITELY do the 7 step ritual! I could have stayed forever. The mist was ethereal and it was so convenient to the City Center (a 15 minute taxi ride). The common restrooms were clean and nice. I would go here every day if I could.

This was an exceptionally good experience, very relaxing and felt surreal. A great way to re-set. I would definitely recommend.

Possibly the high point of our trip to Iceland. The lagoon was about 10-15 mins from our hotel, and while blue lagoon was closing due to volcanic activity, sky lagoon stayed open.

Staff welcome you upon arrival, telling you where to go and give you your bands. Following this you go to the public changing rooms (unless you pay extra for private) and then walk straight into the lagoon after a shower. The 7 step ritual was underwhelming, you should be able to have unlimited access to the sauna / steam room, and there’s no where to get water etc when you go inside, so you’re not in for very long.
