The guide was excellent, very passionate and clear on his explanations. We went back into the park afterwards and saw hummingbirds and many different butterflies on one of the bridges. The guide had to,d us where to stop and look which was invaluable.

We were so happy to have Dennis as a tour guide on this tour. His excitement about every plant and insect, his respect for his environment and his wonder at and skill at explaining the delicate balance of of the birds, plants, mammals, arachnids and insects was contagious. We saw ( and he showed us with his scope and photographed for us) so many fascinating animals and trees. He was patient and supportive of one of our group who was nervous of heights. Can’t wait to go back again! It was a highlight!

This walk from Sky Adventures brings you face to face with the upper level of the Monteverde rainforest canopy. It consists of six hanging bridges in total, the longest of which spans 236 meter (at 50m height). The trail is approx. 2.5 km and is not strenuous or muddy (quite some concrete was dumped on the path), thus making it feasible for anyone in moderate condition. Local guides accompany each tour to help spotting the animals and give information on the different native plant and animal species. We had a good, funny and knowledgeable guide and saw quite some animals (green viper, tarantula, quetzal, hummingbird, coati). For that price though, the tour could have been a bit longer (it was now exactly 1u20, passing bridges 6-4-3-5).

Enjoyed our hike through the canopy. That perspective of the cloud forest was amazing. Our guide Danny was super knowledgeable and added value to our experience. He not only pointed out unique features, plants, and animals in the rain forest, he also took time to provide background and context that we really appreciated.

Roy was most knowledgeable and experienced in how to spot wildlife and inform about plants. Also really quiet as the Zipline is some distance away and doesn’t disturb the atmosphere. Strongly recommend using SkyWalk and acquiring a guide in

I felt my anxiety rise because I'm afraid of heights and wasn't sure I could do it. It was my 60th birthday so I made myself take the chance and I'm so glad I did. Elvis was a great guide and pointed out trees, plants, and wildlife in between bridge crossings. The hike was easy and the bridges were not as long and scary as I imagined (only one long one). Most bridges have tree tops next to them shielding the depth to the forest floor. In areas open from treetops, I was able to look straight ahead and make it through before my fear got the best of me. The bridges are all very similar. They do have movement, but they felt stable and predictable and you can hold on to both sides of the railings as you walk. Don't let your fear stop you from trying this incredible experience (Do it early in the day if it's the rainy season). You also have the option of walking the hiking paths and bridges at your own pace without a tour (about a one-and-a-half-hour hike). Paths are well marked so you can't get lost. I'd recommend the guided tour to get the most out of it.

Can’t rate this highly enough! Our guide Chris was so knowledgable and showed us things like tarantulas in their hidey-holes that we would never have seen by ourselves. The highlight was meeting a whole troop of Howler Monkeys on one of the bridges and just hanging out with them only inches away; including some babies. Had a drink in the cafe after which was reasonable (hot chocolate had sort of cocoa pops on top? Which was unusual but yummy!)
