Our knowledgeable crew will provide fascinating insights into cetaceans, the various species found in the Canary Islands. With a stroke of luck, we may even encounter dolphins in a special area where they typically gather for their evening meal.
The sunset tour lasts approximately 2.5 hours and is available year-round. Departing from Puerto Calero, specifically Dock F22, we will cruise along the coast, offering picturesque views of notable sites like Playa Quemada and the majestic mountains of Femés.

Really enjoyed our time aboard. The crew were great, very knowledgeable about the marine life we were hoping to see. We were lucky enough to see some dolphins swimming near the boat. A really magical moment.

We booked the boat trip on the strength that it was eco-friendly and We Whale did not disappoint!
From the electric-motored catamaran to the not-for-profit (any of which goes to whale conservation, as does part of your ticket price) Ocean beer they serve on board, everything has been thought out to ensure the impact on the environment is minimal. If more companies thought and acted like these guys, the world would be in much better shape!
Top all that with the expertise, warmth and passion of the crew and it makes for a superb outing - the fact we saw a few playful dolphins was honestly the icing on the cake! The best thing being the use of the hydro-phone(?!), which enabled us to hear them clicking away as they investigated what we were up to in their living room!
But, sightings or no sightings, this is trip is must. You honestly feel like you’re doing something good for the planet, whilst having a lovely time drifting along watching the sun disappear behind the mountains…

This was such a special evening. It was informative as well as enjoyable and so pleasing to see dolphins in the wild. The crew were fun and approachable and were keen to discuss the conservation work they are undertaking. We left determined to find out more about WeWhale and to support their efforts. Highly recommended.

Off to Puerto Calero to our water safari with WeWhale to spot (hopefully) whales and dolphins…
We saw 2 types of dolphins but no whales.
But what an amazing 2.5 hour trip!
Our crew - Gonzalo, Patricia and another lovely girl who’s name escapes me - looked after us so well, plying us with drinks and snacks and pointing out where the dolphins were and taking photos for us, as well as expertly crewing “La Santa Maria”, our electric catamaran and handing out blankets as the wind increased and the temperature dropped.
A superb trip if you get the chance to go!

Wonderful experience. Beautiful boat. Passionate crew. We saw many dolphins and got to hear them communicating with each other as well as using echolocation to check us out. 5 stars!

Captain Gonzalo and the WeWhale team are doing some amazing work. The catamaran is electric so it’s better for the environment. They also take any rubbish out of the sea that we come across.
They really, really care about what they do.
We got lucky and saw a group of 10+ dolphins playing, and saw two different types of dolphins.
