Upon arrival, step aboard a motorboat and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Mekong River as we cruise along its picturesque canals and waterways, taking in stunning views of the legendary Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix Islands.

From the boat, you'll relish the sight of Rạch Miễu Bridge – one of the Mekong River's grandest Vietnamese-built spans.

As we cross the river to the Bến Tre Village, we’ll make a stop at a traditional workshop where you can witness the step-by-step processing of making coconut candy, honey farming, and more, while indulging in some delicious samples and enjoying the sounds of traditional music.
Experience the charm of local life by taking a peaceful sampan ride along the shady, breezy canal, rowed by friendly locals. Afterward, hop on a Xe Lôi – a type of local transportation – to explore the villages.

After that, take some time to unwind and soak up the serene ambiance of a typical Mekong Delta garden, or explore the charming village on a leisurely bicycle ride.
Embark on a scenic boat trip through the picturesque canals shaded by water coconut trees, as we make our way back to the Mỹ Tho pier.

Stop At: Vinh Trang Temple, Nguyen Trung Truc, My Tho Vietnam
Board the bus and head to Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda, one of the most outstanding pagodas in the Mekong Delta. Visit the enchanting Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda, a unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Cambodian architectural styles. Home to many intricate Buddhist statues and carvings, it’s a must-visit destination for those interested in cultural and religious sites.

Stop At: Ho Chi Minh City, Ho Chi Minh City
Enjoy a comfortable and relaxing 1.5-hour transfer back to Hồ Chí Minh City, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences of your day in the Mekong Delta.

Although some activities are more centered on shopping than actually discovering the activity itself, the tour is worth it! Our guide Dana was super nice and approachable, she accompanied us along all the way and interacted with us.
Keep in mind you’ll need some cash for tips along the tour!

Got told to go to the meeting pont at 8. had to wait 30 mins for the van. Apart from that the tour was amazing. Dana was a lovely tour guide. She was very knowledgable and kind. We had some amazing Vietnamese foods and saw the marvellous delta river, and temples.

My partner and I went on the Mekong Delta tour with Dana and driver Tom.
We had an amazing time. We visited the giant Buddha statues, went on a boat trip to have some honey tea, coconut candy and then took a small boat ride by a local to have lunch. We saw snakes, tried fresh chocolate, had a beautiful lunch by the river. Dana was very interactive and lovely guide, very funny and good personality. She offered to take pictures for us and giving lots of information. Highly recommend this tour :)

This full day tour was fantastic. Big Dave was the tour leader and he made it a truly great day out. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Vietnam and we felt like we got a true glimpse of the village life for people living on the Mekong Delta. The experience from the pick up and drop off at our hotel was very smooth and professional. Highly recommend this tour and would suggest asking for Big Dave!

Lovely experience exploring local villages along Mekon Delta. We were very lucky to have big/ handsome David as our tour guide. He made our tour enjoyable sharing his knowledge in such a fun way and avoiding all tourist traps!

The trip was well organised with our tour guide (big Dave) giving us interesting tidbits and insights into Vietnamese culture. I enjoyed trying all the local cuisines that was offered to us and the Mekong delta sampan ride.

The Mekong tour was amazing thanks to our incredible guide Big Dave!
He took us in all the nicest places and we never had crowds of people as he knows where to go. The tour is really interesting, we discover a lot of things and we tried the local food, which is really tasty. At the end of the tour he gave us 21 pages with restaurants and food recommendations. Needless to say, we tried 3 of the restaurants and they were the best ones we had in Ho Chi Minh.
I really recommend this tour and Big Dave!

The Mekong tour was accurate to the description and it was a private small group tour, which was what i looked for.
Big David, the tour guide, exceeded my expectations: not only he speaks perfect English, he has an awesome sense of humor in English!
David is knowledgeable, answered my questions on history, and made recommendations on food and stores.
I highly recommend taking Mekong delta tour with the agency and Big David!
