Had an amazing time with Kalika! We tried loads of different food and it all tasted so good! Kalika could tell a lot about the food and Jogja! It was only 3 people and it really felt like a girls night, would definitely recommend!!!

What a wonderful evening! Anisa speaks amazing English and guided us through the crowds in Malioboro and beyond to sample the food culture of Yogyakarta. We ate and drank a wide variety of exotic things, from the standard chicken livers and bakso, to herbal tees, lumpiya spring rolls, tripe with Jack fruit and coffee with a chunk of burning charcoal added. Finished off with games at Alun Alun park. Some walking but mostly whizzing around by motor rickshaw. Good times and highly recommended.

My wife and I did this tour on our first night in Yogya with Kalika as our guide - she truly made the tour phenomenal! She took care of every detail, including ordering a special local soup dish hours early to accommodate my wife’s dietary restrictions. The becak rides are a fun touch to get your around quickly, and Kalika provided great information during our time walking from place to place. Highly recommend this tour while you’re in Yogya!

We did this tour on our first day in Yogya and it was a great way to know more about local cuisine and taste some traditional (and sometime more adventurous) food. Our guide Anisa was really friendly and the becak rides between some stops made the experience really fun.

This was a perfect experience to understand the true real life eating experience and also living experience in Yogyakarta. Our guide Anisa , was the best. You gave the perfect mix of funny and informative, answered all of our odd questions with a knowledgeable response. My friend had to leave early during the time and she even carried her side of the food tour as takeaway , the whole way. This was really the extra mile ,and we really appreciated it. She even liked the food cold 😂❤️. Since i was solo after, I felt comfortable with her as a guide and the group as a whole. Overall , this is a must do when you are in Yogyakarta, and please request the guide Anisa. I even wanted to do the morning tour as well after , since she said she’ll be doing it and that it was a very different tour but of course time constraints. Overall , thank you , she also took pictures, and sent more info after the tour, and we did cultural activities that were really fun, and are better as a surprise

Such a great tour! Kalika was such a great tour guide, so sweet and knowledgeable. Was great to try different dishes from places I wouldn’t have known to try myself. Was a highlight of my time in Yogyakarta!

Our tour guide Kalika WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! She took us to some great spots in Yogy and shared some history about the city. It was hot and humid but we still loved every minute of it.
