Ziptrek offer an exhilarating zipline eco-adventure situated 450m (1500ft) above Queenstown. You'll hang out in magnificent treehouses, breathe pristine mountain air and glide through the treetops on a series of ziplines with spectacular views. Your knowledgeable guides will manage everything technical, while you enjoy a thrilling tour with an environmental focus.

The maximum weight for any Ziptrek Ecotour is 125kg (275lbs). The Kea tour has a minimum weight of 30kg (66lbs).
Gondola tickets are not included in price - we recommend a minimum of 60 minutes to access the upper Skyline complex from the base terminal, or at least 90 minutes in peak times
Please bring an extra layer of clothing year round! Jackets, hats and gloves are recommended. Closed toe shoes are essential (no sandals, flip flops or heels)
Prior to your arrival it is mandatory to complete a Participant Consent Form. The web link to this form will be within your voucher
Youths under the age of 14 years MUST be accompanied by a paying adult (15 years and over) on tour. Those 17 years and under must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over.
If you or anyone in your group has a medical condition or a recent injury please bring this to our attention. Pregnant woman are unable to go on tour.

We had a great ziplining experience with Iona and John. We did 4 ziplines and they were fun but not scary. Everything was well explained and I felt very safe at all times. It took our small group of 5 just an hour and was thoroughly enjoyable.

What a great few hours we had sailing through the trees. Our guides Pearl and Iona were amazing and full of lots of great information about eco sustainability. If you only do one your in Queenstown this should be the one

The guides are very informative, fun, and vibrant! They made sure we had fun. The challenges were a good way to entice the participants to really enjoy the activity. Additionally, the breathtaking views of Queenstown from the ziplines added an unforgettable thrill to the adventure. The equipment was top-notch and safety protocols were clearly explained, which made us feel secure throughout the experience. It was a perfect blend of adrenaline and natural beauty, making it a must-do for anyone visiting the area.
However, it was somewhat challenging to find the location. I spent 30 minutes walking around trying to locate the meeting point. Although there was information on the booking site and website about where to meet, I found it was not very clear. It would be helpful if the directions were more specific. For example, it could state that right after you exit the gondola, you should turn left immediately, avoiding the door directly in front of the first exit.
Additionally, it should be clearly stated that only a one-way gondola ride is necessary, not a return trip. While this might seem obvious to some, as a tourist managing multiple bookings, details like this can easily be overlooked. Explicitly mentioning this can prevent confusion and assumptions. Unfortunately, I purchased a return ticket, not realizing it wasn’t needed. Clear communication can help ensure all guests are well informed.

We had an absolutely fabulous zipline adventure. Myself, my husband, adult daughter and 6 1/2Year old grandson. Totally would do it over in a heartbeat. We laughed and laughed!! Best experience ever!!

I loved how Ziptrek Ecotours team interacted with the customers during the ziplining experience. They were informative, explained in detail what to do and not to do, kept us safe and we all had fun. A definite must do when visiting Queenstown.

Great couple of hours doing the Moa 4-line run. Pearl & Iona were fabulous tour leads. Really looked after us, particularly our 7yr old who had to be first on every run. Such great fun and a must do in Queenstown.

The monitors were great taking care of all of us, making us feel safe. However, it is not for everyone but if you want to try great ziplines you are in the best hands
