If you are searching the internet, like I was, for the best possible water experience in Tahiti, then your search ends here. Alex is an exceptional host. He has a wealth of knowledge & passion for the area and the animals in the water. Alex helped our very nervous daughter have an amazing experience swimming with turltles, sharks, stingrays and countless species of tropical fish. Alex’s local knowledge & freedom as a small operator meant we were also able to find a pod of dolphins. Alex did an excellent job providing a memorable experience. There was only 4 of us, so as advertised it was a really personal and unique experience. We saw sharks, rays, and every kind of fish you can think of. Would highly recommend doing this tour even if it’s the only tour you do while on Moorea.

this snorkel tour was our highlight of our time in Moorea. It’s the perfect amount of time for snorkeling. First we stopped in an area in the channel where Alex towed us behind the boat as we “lazy snorkeled” and saw heaps of turtles! Being towed was SO much fun. Both my husband and I had a blast! Next we went reef snorkeling and saw too many beautiful fish to count! It was incredible. Then we went to the stingray and shark spot in the lagoon. The stingrays come right up to you and you can pet them as you are wading in waist deep water. There were black tip sharks and other tropical fish swimming around us as well. Such a cool spot! We finished the day tucked away in a quiet part of the channel and had one last snorkel and swim. Because we were on the afternoon tour, we drove back to the dock as the sun was setting with rum and juice in hand. This tour was absolutely amazing and Alex is fantastic! Book it!

Our snorkel excursion with Alex was fabulous! He only takes 4-6 people so it is a small intimate group. He took us to three different places where we saw tortoises, snorkeled over a coral reef, and ended with rays and sharks. Swimming with the stingrays is a magical experience. Highly recommend this excursion!

Had a wonderful time! Alex is very patient and cares a lot of the individual level of experience. I was snorkelling for the first time and felt absolutely safe and comfortable. It was a small group of 6 people in the boat and he try’s to avoid the crowds but nevertheless you will not miss the hot spots of the beautiful underwater world of Moorea. Absolutely worth it to see corals, turtles, rays and even small (and absolutely harmless!) sharks.

Felt very intimate, visited for snorkeling sites, all were different but all beautiful in their own way. Alex was so passionate about the sea life, the coral, etc. He was very informative.

We went to four different locations,all different but yet beautiful. Alex is very passionate about his tours and the sea life & shares his enthusiasm with his small tour of 6 people. I have never had such a fantastic snorkeling experience before this trip. I can’t recommend him enough.

Wow! Great morning! Spent over 3 hours out on the beautiful water around Moorea. Alex and Hugh have the experience to show you the great sites for snorkeling. The coral reefs are beautiful, but our favorite experience was being in the water with rays and black tip sharks. Would do this again. And again.

Alex and his wife Tea (sp?) were impeccable hosts for our excursion, which included just one other couple on their boat. They took us to three marvelous snorkeling spots around the northwestern portion of Moorea, including a shallow, waist-deep sandbar where black tip reef sharks and rays congregate. They were patient with us, checking frequently on our safety, and shared their knowledge of Moorea while making room for quiet moments to take in the beauty all around us. The rum drink at the end of the afternoon, as the sun started to set, was a sublime end to our trip...will relish these memories forever. We highly recommend this tour to all travelers to Moorea.

What an incredible way to spend a day in Moorea. Alex and his wife were wonderful, gracious hosts. Not only did they share their knowledge of the sea life and Moorea, but they shared delicious drinks and snacks too. Alex made sure that everyone was safe and comfortable in the water, gave us tips and tricks for snorkeling, and told us what to expect with each stop/swim along the way. Our adventure began with seeing sea turtles and eagle rays. Then we made our way to a sand bar where we swam with sharks and sting rays. On the final stop, we were able to swim with all sorts of tropical fish. As someone who is nervous/has a fear of the ocean, I couldn’t have felt safer. Alex made sure to tell us that if we felt any nerves or panic set in, to simply smile. That advice stuck with me the whole time and immediately put me at ease. It truly felt like a once in a lifetime experience. The whole day was simply incredible. I would recommend the small tour with Alex to anyone who plans on visiting Moorea.
