Itinerary
After arriving at the Kiruna Guidetur office, you will collect warm clothes from your guide and set out to the snowmobile tour start point in the forest (20min drive). Following this, the guide will explain how to drive the snowmobile (for those with driving licence), and soon you will be out on the tracks. Enjoy an excursion through the beautiful area around the Torne River. 2 people per snowmobile, with many opportunities to switch drivers. It is possible to upgrade to your own snowmobile, so let us know at time of booking! We will drive approximately 30-40km through the forest, along the frozen Torne River and across lakes. During the break, we will have lunch around an open fire in a wooden hut. Once back at the snowmobile shed, your guide will drive you back to the Kiruna Guidetur office. (Hotel transfers can be booked in advance).

Amazing snowmobile course from weaving through the trees to high speed on the lake. The Salmon soup for lunch was equally amazing the hot lingonberry juice too …..Thank you Tilder for looking after us and giving us all wonderful memories ☺️

I was a bit unsure about how I would go on a snowmobile, but I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone. I need not have worried because I had the absolute best time. Our guide, Erik, was hands down the best guide I’ve had here in Kiruna. He was friendly, kind, really knowledge and an excellent teacher. The lingonberry juice has become a favourite of mine and the chat around the fire was really lovely. Highly recommend!

I have just had on of the best out of this world experiences. 5 of us, all friends for years, went snowmobiling, 4 of us had never done it before and myself and one friend are keen motorbikers. Inga, a brilliant and extraordinary driver, brought us from the hotel in Reykjavik over 2 hours away in a huge purpose built Merc Sprinter, to the peace and heaven of the Langjökull Glacier. We spent what seems like hours on the freshly fallen snow and witnessed what is truly one of the wonders of the world. As a biker, it took my breath away, cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone. Thanks Inga and team, superb service and a lifetime memory was made today.

It was a great tour! The guide was very friendly and helpful. It was super fun to do and the views were amazing. 10/10 and would definitely recommend!

Great service, guides were amazing and lunch was super. Good information during the trip but would perhaps have liked a bit more details about the trip prior to the trip.

Hi,
I booked the tour for Mrs son (4years) and my husband. Both really enjoyed their trip. My kid was covered in warm cloth in a shield buggy. Both guides took really good care. The tour was over a lake and my son and my husband as well would like to do a second round. So I assume, it is totally recommendable 😉

The tour was excellent, we were brought through the forest and then onto a frozen lake where we stopped halfway for some amazing Swedish lunch and tea in a teepee. Emma was our guide and she was very nice and so helpful during the whole tour. We will definitely be back again to do this and would highly recommend for anybody looking to do a snowmobile tour to choose this one, you won't be disappointed!!
