Itinerary
The daylight changes much during our arctic winter.
From the blue “Kaamos” light to amazing sunsets
where the sky can be full of colors.
That is why we aim to get up above the tree line so we can enjoy the view and
see the landscape.
On our way up the mountain, we will stop regularly and
check out animal tracks and other forest features.
While on the top we will enjoy a hot drink and maybe
take some cool photos.
Information:
Activity level - Moderate
Duration - 2,5h
Length - 3 ~3,5km
Activity Includes - Snowshoes, Hot local berry juice,
headlamp (if needed) and a local guide.
Pickup is included from three pickup spots in Kiruna:
Camp Ripan (10min prior activity start),
Tourist Information (5min prior activity start) and
Hotel Scandic (0minutes prior).
Notes:
We do not provide any additional clothing.
Pleas dress according to the weather and the activity.
Minimum age 12 years.
Maximum group size 8p

Hello.
I will start picking up guests from "Camp Ripan" 15 minutes before the activity start.
Then i will continue to the hotel "Arcti Eden" in the "old town".
The last pick up spot will be at "Hotel Scandic" in the "new town".
Look for a black minivan with the logo "on67° ".

The hike to the mountain was really great. The Guide Anders is really handsome and explains many things about the nature, animals and all other questions about Kiruna ä.

We had an amazing time during our snowshoe tour up the mountain. It was incredible to be surrounded by nature with nobody around us. It felt like we had the mountain just for ourselfes. Except the animals which left there marks in the snow and Andres told us so much about the animals, the forest, the area and Kiruna. He is a great, nice and funny tour guide.
We had a wonderfull experience and we would definitly do it again.

Great experience with my guide, who was very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of information and tips to share!
Time on this tour went so quick and enjoyed every minute.
If you're interested in learning about the nature and the local wildlife, I'd highly recommend this tour!
This definitely got me into snowshoeing. I'd recommend coming prepared and bringing the correct attire as the weather can change rapidly.

This was the most amazing experience!
The snow was beautiful, the views were fantastic, and Anders was an exceptional guide!
It was great learning about Kiruna and the surrounding areas, with the highlight for me being spotting all the animal trails, and Ander's knowledge about the wildlife in the area. The sparkling snow and the warm lingonberry juice weren't bad either ; )
I would recommend this tour to anybody looking for a unique experience in nature, or anyone after a bit of adventure during their stay in Kiruna.
Definitely my favourite activity so far, 10/10 experience :))

I can only recommend going on a tour with Anders! He really knows the area and the wildlife, is super friendly, and speaks perfect English. He'll guide you through tracks you'll not find on your own and as such it is really an experience you could hardly organize for yourself. Especially magical is also the way back which is in the darkness, but your headlight makes the snow glistening! The guide gives plenty of information about the city, the tracks of the animal wildlife and the nature. I've enjoyed the activity and can only recommend it!

The tour was absolutely amazing! 🤩 Mesmerising landscapes, out in the wild, and the snow!! I haven't seen such a beautiful snow-scenes on any other tour! The guide was very passionate, he knows so much about nature & animals & tracking, learned a lot about the locals while having a nice chat! You can feel that he loves what he is doing and that motivated me too!

Wonderful and joyful experience with an excellent local guide who can teach you so much about animals and the environment. I felt invigorated by the beauty of the mountain and the mindfulness of the human connexion. Tak so much Anders and tak your mom for the delicious cake.
I really recommend this journey, a must do for sure!
