Snowshoes on! Let’s explore the wilderness of Lapland with this complete educational snowshoeing tour adapted to every level!
As you will snowshoe into the silent snowy forests, your outdoor guide will explain to you the basics of how to survive in such difficult conditions.
You will first orientate yourself with a map and a compass to find your own way and reach the shores of an immense frozen lake. On the way, your guide will share with you some of its knowledge about the surrounding nature: how to use some trees or mushrooms to make a fire, for medicinal purposes, etc.
It will soon be time to set your little camp! Let’s make your own fire to warm you up. And because one cannot survive without food, you will also drill your own hole in the frozen lake and try ice-fishing! If you catch a fish, your guide will show you how to grill it over the fire.
Don’t worry if you are unlucky: a delicious Finnish barbecue snack will be prepared by your guide. This will also offer you a convivial moment around the fire and a great opportunity for your guide to answer your questions about Lapland!
At the end of the tour, you should be ready to become the next Arctic adventurer of Rovaniemi!

This was a great trip. It was unusually cold (even for Finland) but our guide, Leon, made sure we were warm and happy the whole time. We snow shoed down through a beautiful forest to a frozen lake where there was a tipi. A fire was lit and we had a warming drink and snack before trying our hand at ice fishing. Leon was very knowledgeable and flipped between french and English with ease as he explained how to light a fire and we cooked sausages. Then a walk back through the forest in our snow shoes. Loved it.

Our guide Gabriel turned this activity into a real experience. He shared his survival tips with us in French and English with simple vocabulary, which made it very accessible to us.
With a compass and a map, you will have to find your way through the forest. Hopefully, you'll be lucky enough to catch a fish then!

We’ve enjoyed a really wonderful snowshoeing experience! Professional snowshoes and waterproof boots were provided, we walked about 20-25 minutes to a tent with fire camp nearby the lake. The guide taught us skills of using woods to make camp fire, it’s a bit challenging to cut the side of wood into feather shape but we found this really interesting. The snow view of the river is also amazing, it feels so nice to enjoy hot chocolate with sausages and see this view under a clear sky!

We went on this adventure as a family of 4, with two boys aged 7 and 9. It was the highlight of our holiday. There was a total of 6 persons in our group plus the guide. Our guide Timo did a great job teaching us many things about survival and orientation. We all learnt how to start a fire with the tool, while the other couple also caught a fish. So many things are included in this adventure that you get a full taste of the arctic life. We recommend it.

Nous avons fait l'aventure en raquettes avec pêche sur glace, feu et survie en compagnie de Jérémi. Jérémi est d'abord un expert dans la connaissance de la forêt et de ses différentes facettes mais c'est aussi un passionné et un pédagogue. Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec lui et les enfants ont été ravis de ce qu'ils ont appris avec lui. Merci!

Excursion géniale et secrétariat au top. Sylvie, Caro, Véro et Églantine sont tout bonnement géniales, un vrai plaisir de communiquer avec avec elles pour la logistique antérieure au tour, elles ont assurés un service client remarquable. Le guide Hyppolyte a su assurer l'excursion d'une main de maître et nous a même enseigné des techniques de survie en milieu hostile et à nous approvisionner en nourriture grâce à ses remarquables techniques de pêche malgré un lac recouvert d'une couche gelée sur plusieurs centimètres ! Un grand professionnalisme de la part du guide et des secrétaires qui nous ont laissé des souvenirs inoubliables. Je recommande chaudement cette agence !

Eine sehr tolle Erfahrung die wir mit dieser geführten Tour machen konnten !
Unser Guide war zwar kein Einheimischer aber kannte sich sehr gut aus und brachte eine tolle Stimmung mit.
Wir würden die Tour jedem empfehlen, der Lust auf Natur hat und gerne mal Survival Erfahrungen sammeln möchte.

Superbe aventure accompagnés de Jeremy.
Une marche en raquette, agrémentée de nombreuses explications destinées à s’orienter avec une boussole et une carte et découvrir la forêt qui nous entoure.
Une halte pêche sur glace, apprentissage de la réalisation du feu de différentes façons, des informations pratiques et intéressantes sur l’environnement qui nous entoure, un break autour du feu avec notamment le met local (une bonne saucisse)!
Excellente 3eme expérience avec cette agence: un super accueil des deux jeunes femmes, Gabriel et Jeremy de très bons guides intéressants, dispos et sympathiques! Merci d’avoir tant concouru à rendre notre séjour à Rovaniemi super chouette!

Magnifique sortie en compagnie de Timo. Beaucoup de gentillesse et de précisions dans les explications. Une très belle ambiance en plus d’informations précises sur les techniques de survie au milieu de la toundra.
Mention spéciale pour la discussion belgo-belge sur le hockey sur gazon. Je sais, ça n’a rien à voir. Mais c’était sympa!
