This adventure was the Best thing that we did on our trip to Canada! We loved every minute. First of all, Jaques Cartier Park is really stunning. But the goats, pup and Francois really made it a unique and memorable day that we will cherish. We are grateful to have had the chance to experience Canada this way.

We had an amazing time on this excursion. Francois was an excellent guide and his goats are so well-trained. Luna the german shepard kept my kids entertained the entire time! This was the highlight of the trip for them. Francois even went above and beyond and jumped into the rushing river to grab my son's boot which had fallen into the water. I can't recommend him enough.

The host did not show up for the tour. We drove all the way to the meet up point and he didn’t show up. Didn’t respond to any communication.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Francois was great and the views on this snowshoeing adventure were really beautiful. His dog Luna and the three goats made for a truly unique and fun experience. The stew and cake Francois made were delicious!! For an off the beaten path adventure this was truly excellent. Kudos to you Francois, we had a great day!!!

This was a fantastic experience! A group of us went to Winter Carnival and we took a day off to go snowshoeing with François and his animals. The canyon scenery was beautiful. This was everyone’s first time snowshoeing and it was pretty easy, once we got moving. Dinner was delicious. Everyone in our group agreed that this was our favorite part of the trip.

Such a cool experience! François was very knowledgeable about the terrain and the history of the area. We learned a lot, plus the walk was just beautiful along the river, and the goats and Luna the dog were so sweet! Would absolutely recommend this tour.

My family enjoyed the hike. There wasn't enough snow for snowshoes, so that part didn't happen. There was only a light covering of snow on the ground as there was a lot of rain the week before the hike. The three goats were very friendly and they carried the load of fire logs, cooking equipment for the Quebec Stew, beer and other refreshments. Francoise the tour guide was very nice and pointed out historical information along the river that we traveled by. The hike wasn't very strenuous, was more relaxing. Very beautiful area. A nice fire was lit by Francoise and his children who came along to assist the group of about 25. The Quebec Stew was very tasty, and it was nice to enjoy a couple of Canadian beers and coffee while relaxing by the river. There was also juice available for the children. The entire experience lasted about 3 hours. Definitely worth doing.

François was a generous and knowledgeable host and guide. Unfortunately there was not enough snow around Christmas this year for snowshoeing (unusual for this time of year - we got unlucky!), but we still had an enchanting winter hike through the park with the mountain goats and François's very sweet dog. François had the crampons and walking sticks needed to feel secure on the path in the weather conditions, as well as all the supplies for a hearty and delicious supper. There was a mix-up about the pick-up location, which is why I'm giving this 4 instead of 5 stars. François did message us the morning of our tour with the correct pick-up location, but this information would have been more useful more in advance so we could have planned our day properly. I'd recommend definitely doing this tour, but contact François in advance to confirm the address of the meet-up point.
