This excursion starts with panoramic tour with mini-van around the main sights of Sofia. You will pass by Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, which is the biggest cathedral in Bulgaria and the second in the Balkans. After that you will continue the tour with a visit of Narodno Sabranie Square. In the center of the square is situated the magnificent statue of Tsar Osvoboditel, King Liberator.
The tour continues with a panoramic drive by the Russian Church and the National Theater, the Presidency and the Council of Ministers. After that you will proceed to The National Palace of Culture and the National Stadium Vasil Levski. The stadium is situated in the biggest park in Sofia – Borisova Garden near Ariana artificial lake.
At the end of this panoramic tour, you will go to a typical Bulgarian restaurant, which is located in the heart of Sofia. Here you will have dinner, which consists of typical Bulgarian meals, and enjoy a fantastic show with typical Bulgarian dances and music.

We enjoyed the knowledge of our guide. We were taken to 3 locations and while we had been to each of those throughout our visit we learned more. The folklore dinner was very good! The music and dancing were very nice! The fire walking was the icing on the cake! We couldn’t believe our eyes!

Pete was an excellent guide and an incredible historian. He was very personable. I felt like it was a night out with an old friend. The topper was dinner with folklore dancing and the liocals spontaneously got up and danced also

This was a great tour! We ended up being the only ones who had booked that evening, so it pretty much became a private tour of Sofia! The tour guide (Denitsa) gave us a lot of insights into the history of Bulgaria. The dinner at the end was really good! But you must call in advance and confirm dietary restrictions as the food is prepared by the time you arrive. The performance is for the whole restaurant, and they involve the guests so be prepared to shake a leg!
Will definitely recommend!

A great tour - details a little vague on TripAdvisor but I contacted the agent who was able to clarify. Great guides whose name I cannot recall. Lovely to see the city at night with some information and then the restaurant / folklore evening was very enjoyable. Plenty of local food!

My husband and I enjoyed our night tour of Sofia, followed by a dinner and folklore show. Seeing Sofia at night was great and added a different dimension to our trip. Our guide named Katrin Valkova was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant.

We were picked up at the hotel by Denitsa, who was very knowledgeable about the city. She provided us with information about the history of Bulgaria. We had the opportunity to visit historical places and learned about the evolution of the government throughout the centuries. Finally, we drove to the mountains were we had a delicious Bulgarian dinner and enjoy the music and dances of their people. It was a magnificent evening. Highly recommend.

My husband and I were the only 2 booked on our chosen date so we in effect had a private for. Denisa was our tour guide and she was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing the history of Sofia. She also gave us some hints and tips of places to go while touring the city.
The visit to the Bulgarian restaurant was interesting. Shopska salad followed by roast chicken and potatoes and a dessert. There were folk dancers and musicians which were entertaining. We then went outside for more entertainment. Denisa stayed with us for the evening so we got to know her quite well.
We both enjoyed the evening and would recommend it to other travellers.

What a great night. A short tour of the city followed by a meal in a traditional Bulgarian restaurant up in the Vitosha Mountain followed by traditional Bulgarian music and dancing made for an excellent night of entertainment
