Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Skogafoss, Skogar Iceland
Our first stop is Skogafoss Waterfall. It is one of the most iconic waterfalls in the country and was even featured in Game of Thrones. His 60m drop will keep you speechless for sure. Your guide will tell you all about the hidden treasure chest behind the waterfall and with some luck, you will be the first one to find it.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Solheimajokull Glacier, Vik Iceland
Now it's time for the highlight of the tour. Besides waterfalls, Iceland is also known for glaciers. 11% of the country is covered by ice. Sólheimajökull is an outlet glacier coming down the fourth biggest glacier of Iceland, called Mýrdalsjökull. We put on our safety gear and start our hike on the glacier. The hike is approximately 2,5h long with 1,5h spend on the glacier.
Please note that good hiking boots are mandatory for the glacier hike. We will provide you with all the necessary gear (excluding boots) but full mobility is required in order to have a safe trip on the glacier. All our guides have a lot of experience with glacier hikes and they will make a final decision whether you are able to participate or not when we arrive at the glacier. Please remember that if a guide refuses to let you go on the glacier, the decision is made with your safety in mind.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
Stop At: Reynisfjara Beach, Route 215, Vik Iceland
Now it's time to hit the road again. After a short ride, we stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach. The beach was once rated as one of the 10 most beautiful places in the world and as soon as you put a foot on the beach, you will know why. Basalt columns and the well known Reynisdrangar rock formations await you. Your guide will tell you all the interesting stories and sagas that are connected to this place.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Seljalandsfoss, Porsmerkurvegur, Hella 861 Iceland
Heading back in the direction of Reykjavik, our last stop will be the ever-popular Seljalandsfoss waterfall. The waterfall lays underneath the well known Eyfjallajokull, the volcano that erupted in 2010. If conditions allow, we take a walk behind the waterfall’s curtain before paying a visit to its nearby cousin Gljúfrabúi, found hidden from view in the mountainside.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Gljufrabui Waterfalls, Porsmarkurvegur, Skogar 861 Iceland
Gljúfrabúi (or Canyon Dweller) is a beautiful waterfall located at Hamragarðar in South Iceland, close to its better-known counterpart, Seljalandsfoss waterfall. It is one of the hidden gems of the South Coast, and thus an excellent spot for photographers and those seeking to admire nature in peace.

We had the best time on this trip and it was excellent value for money. Our guide Christopher was funny, engaging and very knowledgeable of the area. We had plenty of time to explore the waterfalls and the black sand beach. The glacier hike was excellent and a very fun, memorable experience and you also felt very safe up there. For anyone visiting Iceland, this trip is a must! You see the highlights of the South in one day, giving you plenty of time to explore other parts of Iceland.

Absolutely amazing tour! Small group of up to 12. Personal experience and charming guide Roberto made the journey both entertaining and insightful. This is a must-do experience including all the best sights of the South Coast. The glacier hike was an absolute highlight and again Roberto made the experience safe and memorable. I cannot recommend it more highly!

First day in Iceland, amazing weather, off-season and a really small group (we were with 5), there just couldn’t have been a better way to get to know Iceland on day one.
Our guide, Michal, was enthusiastic from the first minute, led us through a non-standard route on the glacier (because the regular route disappeared, the group was small and nobody wanted to take the easy road) and added a little bonus stop after the black sand beach.
Just because the weather was that good and nobody had any plans after the tour.
In short, we simply had an amazing day!
Thanks Michal, would 10/10 recommend this to friends

Where to start! I cannot recommend this trip enough, it was absolutely amazing in every single way. Our guide was Michal, he was 100% the reason we had the day we did, he took us straight to the glacier to avoid the crowds and enjoy it in peace, he was so right, he was extremely knowledgeable and engaging and full of interesting stories and facts. He took us to parts of the glacier that were extraordinary and the weather was beautiful so our photos were incredible. The two waterfalls on the way back were simply the icing on the cake. My recommendation? BOOK IT NOW!!!!!! (and hope you get Michal!)
