As others have said, the entire experience was amazing. We were celebrating an anniversary (which our travel agent must have passed on), because we returned to our cabin the first night to find red balloons, rose petals on the floor and chocolates. That same night, they surprised us with a cake! Housekeeping was wonderful. The food was great. Every time we returned to the boat, our bartender had various fruit juices or hot chocolate along with snacks (fruit, cookies, wings, etc...). Our 2 naturalist guides, Pablo and Javier, were amazing. They could quickly identify everything we saw (even at quite a distance) and could describe the history of each island and the animals and birds endemic to each. They did a great job preparing us ahead of time for each excursion. We felt very safe at all times. There were numerous other staff to help getting on and off dinghies, driving the dinghies, managing snorkel gear and wetsuits, etc... Definitely bring binoculars as you are looking at some birds/animals at a distance(partly due to the fear of introducing Avian Flu to the birds there). We also did a lot of snorkeling, so an underwater camera would be a good idea. There is Wifi on the ship (although their website says otherwise). The ship is relatively small, so it can get quite rocky, especially at night when you're travelling to a different island. My wife and I have cruised often on large cruise ships and never had a problem, but I had a couple fairly rough nights, so if you're prone to motion sickness, talk to your doctor ahead of time, We stayed on the boat for 3 nights. (The 4th day consisted of us leaving at dawn). We saw a lot, but perhaps missed seeing penguins and tortoises in the wild. Due to the timing of when we left, we had a private guide at the Charles Darwin Research Center and tortoise breeding center. It's truly an amazing place that gives you the chance to see different tortoise species at varying ages). We had combined this trip to Ecuador with a few days in the rain forest, so couldn't stay on the Monserrat as long as others. All-in-all, an incredible experience . Highly recommended

Really good! Excellent guide and great value. Great staff as well. We saw a lot. I did land tours as well and each day on the cruise was the equivalent of 2 tours a day plus 4 star hotel

We had a wonderful experience on our four day Cruise of the Southern Islands. Unfortunately we were unaware that Avían Flu would affect many of our potencial landings. Even had we known about these diversiones, we still would have booked this trip.

I just finished a wonderful 4-day trip onboard Monserrat(northern route), 100% recommended! have visited Galapagos many times, and this time my trip was beyond expectation. Activities: even though it is a short trip, I still saw lots of animals, sea lions, fur seals, red-footed boobies, nazca boobies, short-eared eagle, storm petrel, herons, shore birds, blue-footed boobies, frigate birds. Jan-April is hot season, mating season for tortoises, iguanas. It is a bit hot to hike in this season, but perfect snorkeling, we were so lucky to be able to see hammerhead shark near Genovesa(the best island for birding), snorkeling in Chinese Hat was also unforgettable, kayaking was fun! I also saw penguins! Boat: great value for its quality, it has everything you need(sun deck, laundry area, lobby, bar). The staffs are super friendly, you 'll always be greeted by hot/cold drinks and snacks after each activity. Delicious 3-courses meals, Ecuadorean and international. There were 2 tour guides onboard, both of them are knowledgeable and they've got good sense of humor, they surprisingly presented a fun video of our 4-day trip in the last evening, which was a perfect ending of the trip. Galapagos is my top 3 favorite places in the world, 1 single trip is never enough, I recommend 2-3 trips to complete the entire loop, every time I go, Galapagos always surprises me.

To say this was the trip of a lifetime doesn't come close to the experience. This is a first class experience from the start. The crew and staff were so nice, helpful and friendly. They took care of our every need. The boat was spacious and perfect for this type of trip. The itinerary was excellent - lots of different activities, with a guide who really knew the area and where to find everything you expected to see. The food on the boat - WOW! really didn't expect that quality of food but there were clean plates from everyone each meal. I can't think of one thing I would change or anything we might have missed. The was a fantastic trip and one that we will remember the rest of our lives. Thank to the team that made this happen.
