Itinerary
Our crew will meet at the Old Venetian port and welcome you on board, where you will be given a briefing about safety and boat handling. We set our sails and we are off to our destination,the beautiful Dia island.
Dia is an uninhabited island, 7 nautical miles north of Heraklion and is protected by the Natura 2000 project because of its biodiversity. Our trip there lasts almost one hour.
We set anchor on either Agios Georgios or Panagia bay (depending on the weather conditions), which are located on the south part of the island. Both coves are known for their green, crystal waters surrounded by the protected wildlife, like the medium sized “Falco Eleonorae” the lizard Podarcis erchardii schiebeli, the wild goat Capra Aegagrus Cretica and the monkseal Monachus monachus.
For about one hour and a half, you will enjoy these beautiful water with swimming, snorkeling or sunbathing! Cool refreshments and seasonal fruit will accompany the fun!
After your lunch and perhaps after a quick dive, we will set our sails back to Heraklion port. Have your cameras ready in case we spot some of our lovely mammal friends, the dolphins.

Kindly note that booking price includes pickups at a range of 10 km from the port.
Your taxi/minivan/minibus will wait for you outside your hotel main entrance.
Transfers further than 10km from Heraklion are available upon extra cost, minimum 20€.

We arrange your pickup from your accommodation.
After your booking, we will contact you via email to fix the time of pickup and pickup point.

It was very easy booking and communication was easy using WhatsApp to organise transfers and give them details of our party.
Sailors on our boat were great, Alexis and Spiros, very informative, great host’s and just good guys in general - up for a laugh.
Lunch was not included but we were supplied with soft drinks and fresh fruit for snacks.
Only 1 downer was that when booking online, it said that snorkels and paddle boards were included but we didn’t have the paddle boards which was disappointing.

This trip was amazing and I would recommend to everyone, the sights, the sunset with the food and the opportunity to drive and snorkel in the sea. The staff were very friendly and made it 10/10

Wow! What an amazing sailing experience. The best part was the skipper allowing me to drive the boat for a few minutes and he told us an Ancient Greek myth on our ride back. The water was so blue, beautiful and refreshing! A bit cold in April but after a few minutes you adjust. There wasn’t much marine life to see snorkeling but still an amazing experience. The food they prepared for us was delicious. 10/10 highly recommend!

Bring a costume and a towel - if you want to walk up to the church bring swim/sandals like tevas or wetsuit boots to walk on gravel when you swim ashore.
The crew were sensational - really put you at ease about being on a yacht for the first time - clear explanations in English on safety and behaviour.
Tips on how to manage sea sickness that genuinely worked for me.
It was sensational to see the sails unfurl.
Lunch was absolutely delicious as was the wine.
I really didn't want to do this trip because of my motion sickness. It was absolutely fine, I enjoyed it and can't wait to set sail again.
Thank you for giving me the confidence to set sail again!

Zoe and George were fantastic! They were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The boat was beautiful. Zoe and George always made sure everyone on board was comfortable. They made suggestions for the best place to sit of people were feeling uneasy and always made sure refreshments were available. The lunch was delicious, all fresh ingredients, and the wine was yummy and always topped up.
Dia is a beautiful island and the waters around it was stunning. We had a great time snorkeling. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Crete.

From start to finish we had an amazing time! Nikos welcomed us aboard and was easy and friendly to talk to. We had an exciting sail out in some slightly choppy waters, then had a perfect amount of time to go snorkelling next to Dia island. Dinner was prepped whilst we snorkelled, which was a good veggie salad and roasted vegetables (we chose veggie, other choices available.) we then set sail back and had some awesome photo opportunities as the sun went down. Perfect trip!

Professional from start to finish - as nervous sailors we felt in safe hands with Captain Zoe and George!
On arrival at Dia we plunged into the Agean sea with our snorkels (supplied by the yacht) whilst George prepared a tasty lunch with a glass of Cretan Wine - would thoroughly recommend!

Had a fantastic time out with Zoe & George on the morning Dia Island sailing trip today. Really great, friendly team. Just a small group of 10 of us on the tour from various hotels, a lovely smooth ride out before jumping in the water for about an or so. Lunch was provided with a glass or 2 of wine before jumping in the water again, plenty of time to relax and enjoy.
