Varenna is the village of Lake Como that you see on postcards and in advertisements for Lake Como. Stroll along the fairy-tale cobblestone streets, savor delicious handmade ice cream, and take numerous Instagram pictures on the Walk of Lovers path built over the water.

Visit a spectacular natural gorge created 15 million years ago. This place is off the beaten path, away from mass tourism destinations. Over the centuries, the river has shaped the rock into gigantic potholes, dark ravines, and suggestive caves. Accessible via a system of footbridges anchored on the high rocks overlooking the water, this narrow canyon offers a unique experience.

We had a great time at Bellagio, Varenna and Bellona! Though we explored 3 places in one day, we did not feel rushed. Our tour was led by Stefano, a very funny guy and ultra knowldgeble of his craft.
We were initially thinking of doing this trip on our own to have more freedom with our time, but it's a good decision booking this tour. The trip was well planned and was offered in a small group. Our time was incredibly maximized and was given ample time to look around. Stefan made us comfortable throughout the trip, gave great food suggestions for lunch, led us to non-touristy places, and helped us avoid crowds especially on the way back to Milan! Do not hesitate booking this tour!

I highly recommand the tour with Stefano. For our very first day in Italy, we discovered the Como Lake and its magnificent villages. The tour is with a small group, plenty of free time and around non-tourisic (but beautiful) spots. Stefano is really sympathetic and attentive to our needs. A very enjoyable moment!

We had a great trip led by Antonella. She was so sweet, friendly energetic and patient. We had 11 people in the group. Traveling by train and boat was perfect! Antonella helped us navigate the crowds and even made a lunch reservation for our group in Bellagio. The towns were lovely and we had a special treat by seeing the gorge in Bellano which is not well known to tourists. We would definitely recommend this tour as a day trip from Milan!

This is the best way to day trip from Milan to Lake Como! I didn't have to think about train transfers or ferry tickets, it's all taken care of. You go to four amazing spots with a small group. I travelled solo so it was lovely meeting other travelers. Our guide was super sweet and knowledgeable about everything. She even got us into a great restaurant in Bellagio with the perfect view. 100% happy I went this route rather than figuring it out by myself.

Spectacular tour with an incredible tour guide, Antonella! We were only four on this tour, and she went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great time.
The itinerary is perfect: we visited the "must-see" places while avoiding the big tourist crowds in Bellagio and Varenna.
It was interesting to also see the non-touristy part of the lake and make a comparison with the busiest spots.
The time management is perfect: we never felt rushed.
Book this tour without hesitation; you will like it

Stefano was an absolutely amazing tour guide! He took the time to truly try to connect with each person on the tour. He was knowledgeable about every destination and provided so much information. He is also FUN! We had a blast. The experience of riding the trains and ferries was unmatched. We booked this tour to go to the gorge and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I’m terrified of heights and did just fine with this, so don’t let that stop you from booking. Every small town was beautiful, we had free time to enjoy on our own. I would highly recommend this tour with this agency.

It was incredibly beautiful and informative! We swam on Lake Como, Oleg talked about the history of the lake, about its sights. I told you about the villas (I learned a lot of interesting things). I really liked it, it was soulful. Now I know who invented the batteries, thank you!

We saw this new activity on TripAdvisor and initially, I was skeptical because there were no reviews about this specific tour. However, we saw that this company offers other Lake Como tours and the reviews are fantastic; they have almost all five-star ratings. So, we decided to give it a try.
There were only four of us, so it was almost like a private tour, and the guide was incredible—he went above and beyond to offer us a good experience.
We got to Bellagio around 12 and we had 2.5 hours of time there, which was just the right amount of time for lunch and to wander around.
After Bellagio, we visited Varenna and it was absolutely incredible.
We also saw a spectacular gorge with waterfalls (I don't remember the name of the village); it was off the beaten path. It's nice to compare the most touristic villages to the smaller, not touristy places where you can walk quietly on the waterfront promenade without hordes of people.
We managed to avoid crowds—Oleg explained to us why this itinerary was created that way. The tour was by train; we realized that it is much faster than by bus. If you are looking for a great Bellagio and Varenna tour in a small group, don't hesitate to buy this one! We loved it! 😍
