You will be greeted at the cruise ship port and shown to a modern, comfortable, and air-conditioned vehicle. Your professional driver will then transfer you through the beautiful Italian countryside. The journey takes roughly 2.5 hours.

Stop At: Tronchetto, 30135 Venice, Metropolitan City of Venice, Italy
After your journey you will arrive at the bus parking outside of Venice, where you will be greeted by our professional, experienced certified Venetian guide. Your luggage will be securely stored whilst we take you on a tour of this fairy-like city and its stunning canals.
You will be divided into small groups of maximum 15 people to make the most of your Venetian visit!

From the bus parking we will transfer you to Piazzale Rome, where our adventure begins. This is the closest cars are allowed to come and once you walk across the first bridge the charm of this timeless island quickly becomes apparent.
From here you will be picked up by a beautiful water taxi, which will transfer you directly to the heart of Venice - the St. Mark's Square. On your way you will pass by some of the most iconic parts of Venice, which your local tour guide will point out to you and explain.
Traveling by boat is the best way to experience Venice - skip the crowds and walking and see this beautiful city in a unique and intimate way from the water, the way it was meant to be viewed!

The boat will bring you directly to the San Marco Square - the most famous and only "Square of Venice".

Your guide will show you the mosaics adorning the ancient Basilica and its clock tower along with the Campinale (Bell Tower).

Another highlight of our tour will be the famous and extraordinary Doge Palace, which for over 1000 years served as the White House and Pentagon for the region.

Next, we will finally experience the highlight of this tour: the world-famous gondola ride! Prepare for an adventure of your lifetime, as we divide you into 5-person groups, each traveling on their own gondola.

Stop At: Ponte di Rialto, Ruga degli Orefici (Rialto) San Polo, 30125 Venice Italy
After the gondola ride you can take your time at the San Marco Square to do some shopping and more sightseeing, or walk with our tour guide over to the Rialto bridge and market. Here you will learn about the lives of traders who after a successful day on shore would re-embark on their merchant vessels docked at the port.

See the lively Rialto market where tourists and locals alike go for fresh fish and produce. You will have the opportunity to browse Venetian delicacies, get a snack, drink and go souvenir shopping. From here you can also marvel at the enchanting Rialto Bridge - the first bridge built on the Grand Canal.

Stop At: Piazza San Marco, 31024 Venice Italy
At the end of your tour you will once again board the beautiful water taxi which will take you back to your luggage. Our tour guides and hosts can help you take public transportation or arrange a private taxi for you to go to your next destination, whether it will be the airport, train station, or a hotel.

At the end of the tour, your tour guide will bring you back to your stored luggage at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto and, if desired, help you arrange transportation to the airport, train station, or your hotel.

This tour is not wheelchair or scooter accessible but passengers with reduced mobiliy can do a minimal amount of walking, as we bring the group to and from the St. Mark's Square on a boat.

Absolutely fantastic day! From pick up at cruise port, through guided tour of Venice including personal gondola ride, everything went smoothly and was very enjoyable! We saw all the highlights!! Everything was well planned and kept timely for our transfer to airport. Highly recommended.

Fantastic. Highly recommend. Seamless transportation from cruise docking in Ravenna to Venice. My luggage was well taken care of so we didn’t have to drag it around. As it was our first time in Venice, our friendly, knowledgeable guide Magda was outstanding. Itinerary was great with stops at all of the important landmarks as well as a wonderful half hour gondola ride which was thoroughly enjoyable. My words don’t do this experience justice so I’d encourage you to do this tour yourself. My only disappointment was the fact that we were only in Venice for the day. Beautiful here.

The transfer from Civitavecchia (cruise port) was seamless. The drivers handled our bags for the entire day. It made it easier to enjoy our tour of Venice. If you are lucky enough to have Sebastian as your tour guide, you are in great hands. As a local Venetian he is knowledgeable about the history and culture of Venice. Sebastian has a typical pride of any local Italian where he wants you to fall in love with his home town. He will tell you where NOT to eat, show you all the best that Venice has to offer, and provide you with the back story of this charming city built on 100+ islands.

This tour was the perfect end to our honeymoon! Seamless pickup at Ravenna port in a private vehicle and ride to Venice where we met our incredible guide for the day, Sebastian. We can not stop raving about him! We not only did & saw all the highlights of Venice, but also had such a valuable insiders look at things from a born & raised Venetian. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Elena was an incredible guide! She be made the tour the best experience by sharing stories of history we could relate to -and only stories that someone who grew up in Venice could do. The Venice tour sights were the highlight of a 2 week trip thru Greece and Italy. This tour was well worth the $$$!!

Elena was amazing! So was our driver and our water taxi driver. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. We were taken from Ravenna where our cruise shipped docked to Venice where we met Elena. She took us all over Venice, out for an amazing lunch, on a gondola and helped us get our luggage and arranged for a water taxi to get us back to our hotel. When we got flooded in St Marks Square and couldn’t get to our hotel, AFTER THE TOUR!, she came back and found us and helped us navigate the back streets and even carried our heavy luggage to get us to our hotel. She was funny and knowledgeable and super helpful. It was the best money we spent on our trip. I would highly recommend this tour and Elena in particular. I feel like we struck gold with her as our guide. She gave us her what’s app and was helpful to us even after the tour ended. A true gem :)

From start to finish, this was a fantastic experience and we felt taken care of every step of the way. We booked this months in advance and had a group of 16. The cap on the online booking was 15 and viator was very responsive, working with the local your company to confirm we could have 16. They also asked questions like the makeup of our group (8 adults and 8 children), things we wanted to see, if we wanted to add lunch, etc. The day before our arrival in Ravenna, the local operator reached out to confirm all details and provide contact information for our guide. When we arrived in Ravenna, a large bus was waiting to take us to Venice, where we were met by Elena. Elena was outstanding. She ushered us all to the bathroom, onto water taxis and to our Airbnb to drop all of our belongings, even helping to carry suitcases to the third floor. She then took us to an amazing lunch where she kept the kids table under control so the adults could enjoy our meal. Next up was our gondola ride, and she led us over the Rialto and through Piazza San Marco, providing facts and jokes and taking pictures all along the way. She made sure we got on our gondolas, took tons of photos, and bid us goodbye. I received 81 photos the next day, all captured by Elena during our time together. She truly went above and beyond being a tour guide and we appreciated everything so very much. This was absolutely the best way to transition from the cruise to our time in Venice.
