We start our tour here before heading off to three more beautiful breweries in the old town! The selection of breweries can always vary, for example because a brewery sometimes expects a private gathering. The following types of Kölsch can be expected during the tour: Gilden Kölsch, Päffgen Kölsch, Sion, Peters, Sünner or others. The old town is a true brewery paradise!

Loved this tour. It’s fairly new and I wanted to give it a try and boy was I glad. The tour guide is a super fun guy and is an expert on all things beer. He walked me through the origins of Kolch beers, brew house rules and stories of families and brew houses hundreds of years old. We visited about 6 brew houses and tasted the best Kolch beers in the world. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting cologne solo , as a couple , with friends or as a fun team activity at work.
