When you are finished exploring the garden grounds, it’s time to make your way to the next visit, and head inside Versailles Palace. Of all the 2,300 rooms in this palace, the most famous has to be the 240-foot long Galerie des
Glaces. This hall has 357 mirrors to be exact, a true sight for sore eyes. Throughout the centuries, it was used for more than just vanity. witnessing many prominent historical events.
Continue to visit the 18th century Royal Chapel. Modeled on both Ancient and Gothic designs, the Royal Chapel is best known for its colorful ceiling paintings and its historic organ. Your tour guide will then lead you to the sumptuous State Apartment where the king would meet with various dignitaries every day.
Continue to the more intimate areas of Versailles Palace including the king and queen’s former apartments and bedchambers. Here you’ll learn fascinating stories about the hundreds of servants who would scramble to attend the king and queen's every need.

Most importantly, our guide was great. Giovanna was well informed, polite and was fun to be around. The tour with a golf cart was really a great idea for seeing the garden as it is large and there is a lot to take in. My problem was with the company arranging the tour. The tour instructions say to show up 10 to 15 minutes prior at the Louis statue. We arrived seven minutes prior and the greeter already left to take another couple inside. He did not return until 30 minutes after our tour was supposed to start. The company did text, but it was apparently too late to have the greeter return to us (even though it was still before the start time of the tour). Yes we were at fault for not following instructions, but this is an expensive PRIVATE tour. Accommodations should be made for a group of five paying close to $1k. Then, when it was time for our group to enter, the greeter had difficulty getting us into the garden as his tickets for us were not working. The ticket problem happened again when we were returning to the garden out by the Grand Canal. I texted the company and said we were having difficulty and they were not much help. This tour was too expensive for the serviced received. The tour was supposed to be 3 hours, we really only received 2 hours with the delays. I emailed the company for a discount, but no response.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Alex at Versailles. In addition to being an entertaining character, he is also very knowledgeable! We had a lot of fun and learned a great deal.
The driver between our hotel and Versailles was also great! He was early and very professional. The vehicle was clean, well maintained and we enjoyed the amenities he provided.

Alex was our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable about the gardens and palace. I would highly recommend this tour for any first time visitors.

We were really happy with Alex's knowledge about the Palace and gardens. He was able to pass on the information in a way that makes the tour very interesting. His anecdotes and strong interest in the Palace and its history made the everything come to life. There was a delay in getting into the palace after the gardens tour and he explained some of what we were to see while we waited. We were extremely happy that Alex took us on his tour.

Phillip was wonderful! So happy, fun and knowledgeable- made for a great experience at Versailles! Would HIGHLY recommend a golf cart tour of the gardens- one of the coolest things I have ever done in Paris!
