We had a great time! We went in December and we were the only people there which was nice. Glen was our guide and he was nice and patient with us! It lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes as advertised. The climbing was quite easy. If you can climb ladders, then you can do this. I'm not too fond of heights, but I found this easily do-able. It can be a little scary if you look down at some parts while you climb, but it's not really that scary if you're worried about heights! Take what I say with a grain of salt though! We enjoyed it!! The gondola ride up was nice too! That only took about 10-15 minutes though.
You can store your backpack after meeting the guide before you head out (well we could because there was only two of us), so don't be afraid to bring a bag to the top. You're not going to be going very far. It takes about an hour and a half because you'll be going at a leisurely pace. Overall, it was a nice experience! And shoutout to our guide, Glen!! Thanks for being patient with us!

My daughter is an experienced climber. She was excited to give us (her parents) the opportunity to have the thrill of mountain climbing, without the risk and extensive training generally required to participate in this sport. Our guide, Tache, was exceptional! He helped us feel safe and capable. His personality, knowledge and enthusiasm added to our adventure.
There was never a dull moment ... Tache kept us moving upward and onward while sharing lots of information about the area, history of Via Ferratas and outdoor adventures.
The views from above are even more stellar when you are up close. My husband and myself are both seniors (69 and 72) and had no trouble keeping up. You CAN do it! And who doesn't want to say they've climbed the face of a mountain? This is definitely an activity not to be missed - absolutely wonderful!!!

Ollie was awesome accomodating my last minute booking, and Laura was an incredible guide - I would 100% recommend this for anyone! It was an incredible experience, and Laura was super supportive and friendly the whole way. Such a unique way to see the area, challenging enough to feel accomplished, and the views were stunning.

My son and I did the Squamish Via Verrata tour during our two days in Vancouver before embarking on an Alaskan cruise. This was our first time doing Via Ferrata and it was the highlight of our whole vacation (including the cruise)! I would love to do it again (next time I would do the one in Whistler since it is more challenging). The views while climbing the rock face are absolutely stunning!

We had an awesome time on the via Ferrata tour with our guide Ollie! He was very easy going and made sure everyone was comfortable and secure on the route. He also shared tons of fun facts about the forest and wildlife in the area. Highly recommend this tour for families. Make sure you are comfortable with heights because there are definitely some moments of exposed climbing up the rocks. It’s all very safe and not too difficult, even for kids.

This review is in regards to Squamish Via Ferrata tour. This tour was on August 1st with our guide Victor through MSAA. Upon reflecting on the activity. The activity was a terrifying experience which pushed our limits; however another guide or another company may have made this experience more memorable. To summarize:
- guide gave minimal instructions
- guide was preoccupied with 2 individuals that spoke his native language
- guide urged me to rush couple of times. Given the nature of this activity, this is highly unprofessional and made me feel unsafe
-promise of memories via photos was crushed when guide somehow “lost our pictures.” While transferring from smartphone to PC. Smartphones hold deleted photos for 30 days and PC can recover photos from 2 years ago through application. This was very hurtful. I would have liked to have a visual memory of this experience to reflect upon in the future.

My young adult children and myself did the Via Ferrata with Tache on July 5. The entire experience was amazing. Tache was awesome. Professional yet fun, with tons of great information about the area, the history and the experience. He went out of his way to take pictures of us, even using an extra cable to get better angles. I have already recommended this activity to all my friends and family!

Great fun at the Via Ferrata. Tash was our leader and gave us great explanations. It's a fun course to do and suitable for teens (my 11 year old loved it !)
Also nice trecks to do before or after on top of Squamish mountain.
Worth it !!!

We did the Squamish via Ferrara and it was fabulous! Our guide Lorna was FABULOUS! We had a couple nervous climbers in our group and she was fantastic with them.
All in all it wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be, (57, not the best cardio shape) and I loved every minute.
It’s not cool up the mountain so dress as you might for the temp of the day and drink some water before you go, you won’t want to carry it with you.
