Begin your Statue of Liberty tour at Battery Park, the historical gateway to Liberty Island. Your guide will share a bit of Manhattan history with you in Battery Park before boarding the ferry with your small group to sail away from Manhattan to greet the Statue of Liberty.

Board the ferry and set sail through the open waters and take in the incredible views of New York Bay as you head for Liberty Island with your local tour guide.

Delve deep into the story of how Lady Liberty started in France and came to America. As you tour the island, your expert guide shares incredible historical facts of this greatest of American icons. Wander through the Statue of Liberty Museum and stand mere feet from Lady Liberty’s original torch!

Stop At: Ellis Island Immigration Museum, 17 Battery Place #324, New York City, NY 10004-3507
Board the ferry for a short 10 minute boat ride to Ellis Island. Discover the stories of the millions of immigrants who journeyed through this historic site. Wander at your leisure with the award-winning Audio Guide (included). You can peruse the museum, dive into your own family history, or enjoy a bite at the Island’s popular cafeteria. You are also welcome to return on the ferry with your guide.

Enjoy free time on Ellis Island or join your guide on the ferry back to Battery Park, taking one last look of Lady Liberty from the water.

This tour is conducted in English only.
This is a walking tour. While there are stops along the way, guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
You are required to go through airport-style security on this tour. No luggage, weapons, or food (except for water in a clear container) is allowed. Confiscated items will not be returned.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, sites may occasionally close. We make every effort to stay as close to the advertised itinerary as possible but substitutions/omissions may be necessary.
Upon arrival at Liberty Island bags and backpacks must be stored in a locker.
This tour does not include access to the Statue of Liberty's Crown.
The tour meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows after tour commencement or departure.
Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

I wasn’t going to go at first because of the rain but Charlie just made the tour of Statue of Liberty and Ellis island so personable.

Visiting with my husband and friend, its not that much expensive , infact its worth your time and money, Christian our Tour guide did his home work for real, he is great in explaining the history all the whats/hows and why, you dont need to ask questions just wait for him to explain what he is about to and its all covered, great place to visit with the best tour guide to lead, WOW keep doing the great job Christian! pleasure to have you as our guide,

Once we met our guide, we crossed the street to walk to the line. It was enormous. We ended up waiting 2 hours before finally loading on the boat. The guide tried to keep us entertained while we waited.

The Statue of Liberty & Elis Island can be done without a guide as the museums are pretty self-guided. But it would've been quite boring. Fortunately, we had Charlie as our guide for this tour and it made the experience a whole lot more interesting and memorable.
