The Olympic sport of bobsleigh is a true bucket list activity that is only available to the public at very few sliding tracks in the world, with no experience required. The Whistler Sliding Centre is the only track in Canada to offer the activity, in winter on ice (together with the Olympic sliding sport skeleton) and in summer on wheels.
The Whistler Sliding Centre is a non-profit organization, and all proceeds from public programs go directly towards growing sport and supporting bobsleigh, skeleton and luge athletes who train on the track.

What an amazing experience! I was traveling with my adult niece and her husband to Whistler. She had all of our itinerary planned including the bobsledding. I had no idea how the heck they would pull this off to give you the thrill in complete safety. Well they did and it’s worth every penny. The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. They answered all questions and added their humor to lighten one’s apprehension. We were loaded into the bobsled and were off. Our ride lasted about 52 seconds and it was a great experience.

Fantastic experience. Well organised. Tour of track with athletes with thorough explanations. Ride itself was absolutely amazing. I was really nervous but so glad I did it. An amazing experience I'll never forget!

This was a fun exciting and unusual excursion to do. You learn a little bit about it and walk some of the course and then get ready to bobsled down the fastest bobsled course in the world. Staff is friendly. Highly recommend it

This was a wonderful experience that I have been looking forward to since I was about 15 years old, when I first saw bobsleighs in the Olympics. The employees were energetic and extremely knowledgeable about this sport. It was great learning so much about the track and how the ice is formed. We got to see different types of bobsleighs and equipment. It was pretty cool to be able to touch and feel and walk on the track itself. I felt completely safe in the hands of my driver, Aaron. This was an excellent experience!

Good value for money. Informative and fun. Staff go out of their way to make it enjoyable. There to reassure younger family members and hesitant parents! The videos and photos were unexpectedly reasonably priced so we came away with mementos of our once in a lifetime experience. Thank you!

Started with an amazing track walk with lots of information. Super fun, fast slide down! Totally worth it. Nice that it's nonprofit too- raises funds for the athletes.

We had a great time learning about the past Olympians and future Olympians that train at this amazing spot. We also loved our bobsled ride! Brit was our driver and was awesome!
