The best way to spend Mother’s Day. Our tour operator was safety minded, engaging and competitive.
We loved the fact that he was determined we would be the first to take off and the highest.
The sunrise was to take place at 6 am and we were in the air just in time to see it peek over the horizon.

Terrific trip, Michele & Mike are a dynamic duo, with Shane as our Pilot, I learned more about this area, the history of ballooning and plant life than I ever knew. It’s been many years since my older brother and I have spent any quality time and had such a wonderful experience together
Thanks you guys!

This is an absolute bucket list experience. The crew — Shane (pilot), Matt and Mike — were professional and safe while being lighthearted and fun. Shane’s handling of the balloon was super impressive, getting close to the ground as we went over the hills but always totally in control. I was a little worried after reading other posts mention feeling nauseated; I get nauseated easily, but with a Dramamine beforehand, I felt totally fine. We could have stayed up in the air for the rest of the day! Definitely recommend.

The memory of a lifetime! Shane’s flight will be difficult if not impossible to beat on any future hot balloon ride. What a privilege. Thank you!

Glad we got to take the trip for the experience. Only ever did it this time, so think the pilot (and crew on the ground) did a good job in navigating and with the landing---the basket stayed upright and everyone exited unscathed. And good story (and balloonist prayer) about how hot air balloons and champagne got started.

For our anniversary my husband and I flew with Aerogelics Ballooning with pilot Shane and it was a beautiful and memorable experience. The crew was awesome, putting the safety of customers first and making it a fun and smooth ride with beautiful views of the Sonoran Desert. Rescheduling our flight due to weather conditions was super easy thanks to the staff. Thank you Shane, Matthew, Michael, and Michelle for a wonderful experience! You guys are awesome!

Great experience. Shayne was funny, knowledgeable and safe.
Loved all of it . My sons enjoyed the experience as well. Just a very early start. But it worked out in the end as the temperature during the day here can reach 100 degrees .

The Crew and Pilot were amazing, we had a great time and definitely checked off a bucket list item. I would overwhelmingly recommend to anyone wanting to try.
The only issue I have is why did we wait so long in the parking lot before heading out to our take off spot. The instructions on the site were very clear about departing by 5:20am. Yet we waited an additional 20 mins for a group of 4 to show up before leaving the parking lot. Once we got to the take off spot our crew, again, was amazing and got us up as fast as they could. Unfortunately the sun had already come up by the time we got up in air. Why did we wait for 4 people that caused the rest of us to miss the actual sunrise from the air?

Our pilot coped with changable winds and brought us over several parts of the desert floor whereas another company we could see flying in the same general area went up, stayed in that space and went down again. We were glad we chose the company we did.

I’ve been on a hot air balloon before- what made this different is Shane took us close to the ground near the hiking trails on the mountain and high up as well so he didn’t just fly high. We got to get close to the animals on the hillside at different times and it was the smoothest landing - less jolting than a smooth elevator stop.
I get where some reviews may slam Shane on his rudeness but really it’s just his dry, sharp, attitude and knowledge that prioritizes safety. When you’re as good as he is- it comes with a bit of an attitude. He loves it when you ask him about the rules of ballooning. lol He’s a great pilot so go in knowing that- he’s not a politician so won’t be kissing your baby and being all politician “fake nice” so just relax and you will have a great time. We will definitely come again and bring friends. Oh and by the end of the event you will see that Shane’s a great guy and you can see he’s really a softie - we see through you Shane!
