We'll start by picking you up wherever you prefer. Then we'll head into the city centre and explore to discover Porto's history and great views. After we'll make our way to the beach to watch the Sunset.
Stop At: Livraria Lello, Rua das Carmelitas 144 Vitória, Porto 4050-161 Portugal
We'll start by exploring the city centre and the historical centre, we'll go through the Lello bookstore neighborhood and other meaningfull places before heading to the mouth of the river Douro to watch the sunset.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Stop At: Jardim do Passeio Alegre, Rua do Passeio Alegre, NA, Porto 4150-569 Portugal
As we arrive at Foz, the mouth of the river Douro, we'll search for the best place to watch the Sunset and enjoy a drink.
After we'll bring you back into the city to drop you off where you prefer.

Had a great evening chasing the sunset with Joao! This is a really personalised tour - as we did the trip at the end of our stay and had visited the main sights Joao took us to some places that were a bit more off the beaten track but with stunning views. He’s so so proud of his city and if you aren’t already in love with the place when you start the tour you will be at the end!

The best way to see Porto! Do yourself a favor and book this tour. João was knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the best his city has to offer. He truly made our afternoon/sunset experience one to remember and even customized it to make sure he was showing us areas we hadn’t yet visited. And he also took some amazing photos of our experience along the way. We highly recommend him and his tour. Thank you for making it one of the most memorable experiences of our trip.

We were not only able to explore beautiful neighborhoods in the city, but we learned so much about the history and its makeup from Joao who is sixth generation Portuguese and has so much love for the city to share with you. The sidecar is something we’d never done before but we do love to ride bikes so it stood out to us as a fun experience right off the bat. Please note it is super safe and you don’t need this prior experience to have a great time. We got more photos than we could have even imagined. Joao was playful and funny and made the journey very enjoyable! He knows all the best spots and can provide lovely recommendations for your time in Porto. There is even a little surprise we got to enjoy at sunset overlooking Gaia. Definitely a highlight of our honeymoon trip to Portugal! We would absolutely love to come see him again!

All I can say is so much fun! João is delightful person! He showed my teen and I the best (we absolutist loved the motorcycle and side car) tour of Porto topped off by an amazing sunset. His personality and knowledge were top. Highly recommend!!!!

This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip, and made us want to go back to Porto gain to explore more. My kids, 8 and 11, had a fantastic time. We loved it! Highly recommend.

Everyone should experience Porto in a sidecar tour! My daughter and I had a blast. It was our first time on a motorcycle, and we felt safe and comfortable. João was amazing, and his personality is warm, cheerful, and upbeat. His knowledge of Porto is completely unmatched. He shared historical, cultural and personal stories that were fascinating. He is so passionate about this gorgeous city that you feel the same way once the tour ends. He drove us all around the city, and each stop boasted a magnificent view. He took the most amazing pictures of us. As a Mom who is behind the camera as opposed to being in front of, I cherished each photo of us. João's tour was really the highlight of our trip.

What an amazing experience!
João is passionated by what he does. We spent a super moment. We learnt a lot of things about Porto and the way of living. The sunset moment was just crazing. I highly recommend this tour!

This was the best tour in all our travels. And the sunset was magnificent! John is a great tour guide. He has a special surprise as you watch the sunset. You haven't seen Porto until you see it in a side car! Simply amazing.

We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour! Tour guide Joao is knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and passionate about Porto. He is delightful! He brought us to many beautiful and interesting spots for history, culture, and beautiful scenery. Good photo ops too! And capping the evening with a gorgeous sunset view from Gaia with a bottle of sparkling wine. Perfect start to our stay in Porto!
