For beginners: Learn the basics of surfing - reading waves, paddling, standing up and wave etiquette.
For intermediate-advanced surfers: Improve your technique.
Please note, there is the option for classes to be held at an alternate nearby beach, depending on the swell.

It was by FAR the highlight of our trip. These guys are AMAZING. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. My family (son 17, twin girls 15, my wife and I) had such a great time. It was our first time surfing and 4 of us managed to stand up more than once.
We felt safe all the time.
I HIGHLY recommend surfing class with these amazing group of instuctors

Donavan and Alex were great, picked us up on time. Drove us to the shop for a quick overview then we descended the stairs and got a heap of waves. While we were out surfing a sea turtle popped up between the waves as well which was really cool to see. When we finished a couple of ice cold beers were waiting for us as well.

We had an awesome morning surfing with Oni! It was our first time surfing and we both had a great time ! We got good instructions and were both standing up early into the lesson :)

It was a great experience from the beginning. It was my first time trying to surf in over 20 years and I did much better, with their instruction, than I expected. They make surfing really accessible and they have a great community of staff and students. I do recommend taking more than one class if you have the time. My first class was a lot of fun, and totally worth it. I did also learn a lot more the next two. I do think it's important to get more experience with an instructor before trying it on your own. The other students I met also seemed to be having a great time. It's really what made my time great in Puerto Escondido!

My friends and I felt very safe to go with Angel for our three-days surfing lessons. We wish we could have more time spending in Puerto Escondido to learn surfing. Would love to go back again to surf with this organization!

We had a fantastic couple of surf lessons with Donovan, Franco, Jesus and Angel - they were all incredibly knowledgeable and great instructors, plus the beach where we surfed was absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend!

Donavan took my friend and I on our first ever surf lesson. The beach was beautiful and Donavan was an amazing instructor. He never let us out of his sight and was great at providing advice to help us with out technique.
I couldn’t recommend using Donavan more!

Great Surf Lessons! Donovan and his crew are awesome. They really made us surf and we had a GREAT time with them !!
Wonderful scenario , they know the best surfing spots around puerto and master local conditions.
Besides that , they made us feel confident in the water and actually surfed Some big waves out there .
Great laughs and super relaxed mentality made us quite enjoyable every day we went out with them .

Donovan (and his partner instructor) were excellent surf teachers during our honeymoon in puerto Escondido! Donovan seriously knows what he’s doing and how to coach beginners. My husband had never surfed (or skate boarded or snow) before and he was catching waves on his first day. We both took 3 lessons throughout our time in puerto and every day felt like a big progression in skill for us. Not only did we learn a ton and feel more confident in the ocean but Donovan was so much fun and really made the trip a great memory. We will definitely come back for more lessons and a surf trip in the future!
