Our cage-free experience allows you to SAFELY swim with sharks in their natural environment. You will walk away with a new perspective and appreciation for these beautiful creatures. Photos and Videos are included for free!
We're a family owned and operated company rooted in Haleiwa, Hawai'i on the North Shore of O'ahu. On your trip, we'll be headed three miles off the coast of Hale'iwa to a location that's been in our family for generations, which is about 300 feet deep.
A safety diver will escort you into the water where you will be able to safely watch as well as swim with the sharks, and other pelagic creatures. While swimming in the open ocean with sharks and other pelagic creatures, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the ocean and its inhabitants - disposing of the irrational fears and misconceptions of sharks and other ocean creatures.
This is a "cage-free" experience where we will be free swimming with sharks for about 30 minutes. No heavy equipment is used. Just us with snorkel gear - so we keep the experience as natural as possible.

Always be attentive and present in the water, keeping your ears above water and paying close attention to the Safety Diver's instructions
If you are prone to seasickness, please take Dramamine 1 hour prior to the tour
A minimum of 2 people per trip is required for any trip. If you are booking as a single passenger, we will contact you if the minimum trip requirements are not met.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

Perfect adventure to check off the bucket list!! This was a breathtaking experience. Our operators were super laid back & made our trip all about the sharks. It was exhilarating & we ended up booking another trip the very next day!

The crew were so friendly and knowledgeable and made us feel like family. They gave us a great experience and we can't wait to do it again! We saw whales, dolphins and swam with sharks! It was phenomenal & I will recommend Island View Hawaii to everyone!!

Staff were super respectful of the sharks and other ocean life we saw, gave a great overview of what to expect before we left the dock, checked in for safety and comfort often and were fun and kind the entire adventure. We got to see dolphins on the way out to spot we anchored to see the sharks, saw some sandbar and glapagos sharks and even a barricuda. we had a wonderful adventure watching the sharks swim. A huge plus was getting the pictures taken by the crew as part of the package, no extra cost. This is a family run local tour company and theu really know their stuff!

The crew was amazing at keeping us safe and having us in the water with the sharks. They were experienced and knew exactly what they were doing. Being in the open ocean with the sharks was indescribable.

This is by far the best tour my husband and I have ever been on. The crew was amazing and made us feel comfortable and safe while in the water with these magnificent sharks. Would recommend this family ran business 100%.

If you visit Oahu, this is a must! Come support a family owned and operated business. We had four tour guides who were very knowledgeable, and a small group of people in our tour group (about 6). They took a great deal of time explaining the whole process to us and made us feel extremely comfortable.
Seeing the sharks swim very close to you is such a rush!
