Location of tour meeting place is one level down. Tour started on time group size was about 20 persons. Our guide was very good ( I think his name was Arlo?).

Check-in for us was at the gift shop on the lower level of opera house. We got together around the same area, you have to check in large bags, they have the measurements there (regular sized book bags for sure need to be checked in). Our tour guide David was great, knowledgeable, and friendly. You get to enter some of the theaters as long as there are no current performances going on. Enjoyed hearing about the history and architecture of the structure.

Other than that it was very interesting to learn the history Of this world renowned building. Lots of great places for photography both inside and out. We were very glad we did it.

I had seen the outside of the Sydney Opera House multiple times in the past, but had never been inside. We bought this tickets with the tasting tray afterwards (which was a great idea!). Our guide was a former architect (worked with one of the main architects on the Opera House itself) and was extremely knowledgeable. There was a video we watched from one of the theaters -- which I expected would be a waste of time -- but it actually was extremely well done and helped us understand the monumental task it was to build this icon. Well done, big thanks, and we'll be back again!

While everyone wants their photo with the outside as a backdrop, there are special places inside as well that you need to see. The tour was highly informative as you go behind the scenes and take in the scale of this building. My tour included a dinner at the Opera Bar which was a great way to finish the day and watch the sunset behind the Harbour Bridge. The Opera House is truly a landmark. The simple beauty and versatility of this building is amazing and stands the test of time, and always will be an iconic structure known the world over.

Wasn't sure about this at first but I was really glad I did this tour. I learned so much about the opera house and got to see each of the theaters. Lots of walking and steps though, so be prepared. Well worth it!
