This is a wonderful and educational tour. It’s about 2.5 hrs of leisurely walking and a bit of eating (but not too much). Our guide Cathy was sweet and a perfect person to view the area with.

Had a lovely time with Betty! She gave lots of interesting history information along with the tasty dishes. I was totally stuffed when I left, and I hadn't eaten at all before. The group was small and kind so we were all able to chat together and ask questions.

I enjoyed this tour with Kathy as our guide. It was like having a friend take you around town to show you the way--but with a lot more insight. Kathy informed us on the history of Taiwanese food, which is always a great way to understand the culture. I enjoyed every dish and was happy to know I could skip the intestines in the vermicelli soup. Otherwise, I would have skipped it altogether. I'm happy I didn't. It's an essential part of the culture that I wanted to experience. Thank you, Kathy, for a fantastic tour and for sharing your knowledge with me!

The food tour was a great way to position myself for success as a Taipei first timer. I visited a vibrant market and various venors/hawkers on YongKang Street. There were many fine delicacies sampled. The soups were nourishing (even on a hazy/hot/humid day. My tour guide Cathy was patient and kept the group moving at a good pace. Book her with confidence.
