We waited for 30 minutes and the guide never showed up. Tried to call the tour operator and the phone was always busy. Messaged the operator and got no answer. Went inside the hotel next door and the guy said the same thing happened to the tour the previous day. I had seen a previous comment about a no-show of the guide but the majority of comments were positive so I booked it. Guess I’ve learned my lesson. Stay away from this tour!

We arrived 10-15 minutes early at the pickup spot with 2 other groups and stood in the 0° weather outside while waiting for our guide to show up. The guide never showed or responded to our messages and we had to call Viator to try and get ahold of them but still no luck. We waited until 30 minutes past the start time and still no one showed up or even messaged us to let us know it was cancelled. I would be cautious booking this.

DISAPPOINTING - Guide did not turn up!!! Disrupted our day, waiting around in the freezing cold. It was part of a birthday surprise for one of our party and we were really looking forward to it. Had to reschedule our day. Made the organiser of our little group feel terrible. None of the group had any notification the guide was not going to show. Only a confirmation of the booking first thing in that morning. Found it difficult to complain. Just hoping we will get our money back as it wasn’t cheap!

Guide did not turn up and we waited for nearly an hour trying to get through to Trip Advisor with no luck. Called the local provider as did the other people waiting to go on the tour but was engaged all the time.
Finally got through to Viator support line who recorded the issue.
Ruined my husbands birthday celebrations.

My tour guide did not show up or contact me. I was waiting for a half hour before I decided to leave and it was very cold outside.

Guide was a no show, we were really excited for the tour but no one showed at the meeting point. Because of this, half our day was disrupted

Myself an 4 others waited 30mins and the guide never showed up. We tried calling the number provided but did not reach anyone. No one was made aware prior everything still showed as confirmed. We have not heard from the tour operator for an explanation or refund.

The guide was a no-show! We did not receive a cancellation notice. Oslo Tour left us hanging outside the meeting point, Freia, Karl Johans Gt 31 chocolate shop, without considering us given the cold conditions. The young shopkeepers of the chocolate shop were more sympathetic towards us and went outside to make sure we were okay. Viator should think twice about working with Oslo Tour. I put in a request for a refund and have already alerted my credit card company. They’re on standby should a refund is not granted.

Ivana was a fantastic guide to delicious foods in Oslo. My wife and I were lucky enough to be the only couple on the tour, and we enjoyed every minute of the walking, the talking, and the eating and drinking. Highly recommended!

Great guide! I don't remember her name, but she is from Croatia :) very kind and knowledgable and answered my many questions. The food was so good! Definitely worth your money.
