Our 13-Mile Scenic Float Trip is the best value in a scenic float trip in Jackson Hole. The bald eagle is king on this stretch of the river, among the finest habitats for our nation's symbol in the lower 48 states. Osprey and Pelicans compete for the native cutthroat trout as well, and moose, deer, and elk occasionally appear to take a drink or escape the summer heat. Children as young as 3 are welcome. You’ll enjoy the warm summer afternoon or cool morning in the beautiful surroundings of the Snake River. This 13 mile stretch of river is shallow and calm perfect for those age 3 and up. Round trip is from 3-3.5 hours with approximately 2 hours spent on the river. Private Rafts Available.

WHAT TO WEAR:
For scenic floats, you should dress according to the weather. Keep in mind that the weather changes quickly at mountain elevations, and layering your clothing will enhance your comfort. This way you can peel or add layers as the conditions change. Sturdy shoes you wouldn't mind getting wet or dirty are recommended.
WEATHER
We have access to real-time doppler radar. Some trips cancel due to inclement weather. If you have concerns, please call our office. Weather changes quickly, so even inclement weather a half hour before departure does not necessarily mean cancellation. Cancelled trips result in offer to rebook or refund.

Anyone would enjoy this relaxing float trip down the Snake River! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and we saw the most gorgeous scenery and at least a dozen bald eagles! This excursion is fun for all ages. No paddling necessary— you just enjoy the views!!

Had a great time on the scenic river float. Julia was our guide. She was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely competent. She was the highlight of our trip. Lewis &Clark is the only family owned company left in Jackson. And they are the best. We saw many bald eagles, and their Ness, as well as other wildlife
The booking process was easy and they worked with me with a time preference. Nancy was an awesome driver and only added to our experience.. Thank you ladies and thank you Lewis and Clark!!! we will definitely recommend you!!! Give those girls raises!!!!

Great scenic trip down the Snake River. We saw a couple of bald eagles on the trip. The Snake River is beautiful and Danny, our guide, was great! A very nice way to see the scenery and spend an afternoon

We saw lots of eagles. It was very considerate of the guides to offer extra fleeces and the rain ponchos were appreciated. The guide was very knowledgeable.
