At The Dinner Detective, you’ll tackle a hilarious and challenging crime while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it! Our engaging and unique murder mystery dinner theatre performances have been playing across the country since 2004.
Our show is very different from traditional murder mystery dinner shows. We will hide non-costumed actors in the audience that are pretending to be part of the crowd. This results in a much more social and interactive evening than with other shows. Our shows are set during the present day and take place in real time. Over the course of the night, our costumed Detectives will uncover clues, interrogate audience members that may or may not be part of the show, and help everyone get closer to solving the mystery.

The rules were clearly explained beforehand so there was no confusion. The food was delicious. The actors were very funny and engaging. They made the experience wonderful.

So fun!!! Me and my friends went for one of my friends bday and I made her a main suspect unknowingly to her and they had a pic and everything it was hilarious! The actresses are great and super funny

Had an emergency could not attend. zero refund policy. Left messages, tried to call ahead.
My seats sat empty, or a walk up got them, so the venue made double off my fee.
I will never book thru viator again. Never heard of zero refund.

First Mystery Dinner theater. Had a wonderful time- food was great- I had the fish (salmon). Story was entertaining, everyone got involved.

While the food was marginal, the theatrics were fun! We enjoyed our table mates! Worth the time!! Go into with right easy, no expectations.. great!

The actors were great and the crowd did a great job participating! I was concerned about the food, but it exceeded my expectations. Definitely a worthwhile experience! And my sister solved the case.
