Stop At: Eilean Donan Castle, Kyle of Lochalsh IV40 8DX Scotland
After Loch Ness, our Skye Tour continues on to Eilean Donan Castle*; one of Scotland’s most photographed castles. The castle is situated on its own island at the head of Loch Duich. We take time here to explore the castle and its atmospheric surroundings.
Duration: 1 hour 25 minutes
Stop At: Portree Harbour, Quay St, Portree IV51 9DE Scotland
After Eilean Donan, we continue our journey to the Isle of Skye, passing over the Skye Bridge and on to the small village of Portree for our lunchtime stop. Portree, although a small harbour village, is the capital of Skye, and is surrounded by rocky cliffs and rolling hills. Its beautiful surroundings make it a perfect stop to have lunch and enjoy views of the boats.

Stop At: The Old Man of Storr, Scotland
We stop at the Old Man of Storr for photos
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Kilt Rock, IV51 9JE Scotland
We pause at Kilt Rock for photos.
Duration: 10 minutes
Stop At: Kyle of Lochalsh Viewpoint & Picnic Place, Kyle of Lochalsh, Kyle IV40 8AZ, UK
We stop at the Kyle of Lochalsh for refreshments
Duration: 25 minutes
Stop At: Lochcarron, Lochcarron, Ross and Cromarty, Scottish Highlands, Scotland
We stop at Loch Carron for views of Strome Castle.
Duration: 10 minutes

So glad we booked this tour to explore the Highlands for the first time! Our tour guide, Will, was fantastic and made the time on the bus fly by with his passion for Scottish history, entertaining stories and great music. We saw so many beautiful sights in one day. Highly recommend!

The tour is a long day trip but totally worth it. The itinerary was respected as the advertisement showed. There were stunning views and the guide was very professional and knowledgeable.

Highland Explorer Tours. That was our company. A small group of people and the best time ever.
Definitely do this Tour. and i wish you will be so lucky to have as your tour guide HARRISON! all the tour guides were lovely and professional to be honest. but as we all have favs he was our fav. what an authentic sweet and funny person he is! we loved every second of this tour with Harrison. Isle of Skye! we can write down a whole chapter for this place but in one phrase, its out of this world. beautiful scenery, mountains, lakes /lochs and castles full of story. we just loved it. Thank you Harrison!!!

Our Kilted guide Liall was excellent. Very knowledgeable, and played awesome music. We loved Skye. We were a little sad our lunch was rushed, but that was NOT his fault. I highly recommend TIMBERBUSH TOURS

I had the most incredible day. Coach extremely comfortable and Colin the driver/guide was exceptional with courtesy, knowledge and his care of his passengers. This was the second rabbies tour I have been on and I will most definitely be booking more. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. Oh. And the weather was fantastic

Brilliant tour of the Isle of Sky with Timberbushtours. Our driver and guide Liall dressed in his kilt and long socks, dressed with his Scottish accent has been very knowledgeable and funny in his storytelling. It was delightful to hear his Scottish accent and learn about the country. The views are stunning. The your is bery well organized and all goes well. All the guides/drives take a great pride in being Scottish and their love for the country just fills your heart. It makes you want to come back for more. Well done Liall. It is higly recommended 💚🏴

The whole tour was fantastic! I had driver Andy S. He was terrific. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the isle of Skye and the highlands. And he had a good sense of humour! I highly recommend this tour!
