Hans-Albers-Platz is located in the center of the Reeperbahn and was renamed after the famous Hamburg singer and actor. The bar "Albers-Ecke" was also named after "Blond Hans".

The "Beatles-Platz" is the entrance to the Great Freedom. Here are the 5 guys in the Hamburg district that was to be the birth of the most successful band in the world. 4 clubs, in which the "Fab Four" played, are in the immediate vicinity. And also their favorite bar.

The Great Freedom is the heart of the Reeperbahn "celebration mile". Formerly a street with red light shops, it is now celebrated in bars and pubs. And the many music clubs in the street established Hamburg's reputation as the favorite place of many famous bands. Starclub, Große Freiheit 36, Indra Club has seen the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie and many other musicians.

Mit dem Kiez-Käptiän hatten wir, trotz heftigem Regen und Gewitter eine kurzweilige Zeit. Wir haben viel über das Viertel erfahren, viele Geschichten gehört, Dinge gesehen, die uns so nie aufgefallen wären. Der Kapitän selber ist offensichtlich auf dem Kiez seit Jahre gut bekannt, was die Tour zudem sehr anschaulich machte.
Wir haben alle Fragen beantwortet bekommen. Wir würden genau diese Tour nochmals machen. Der Kiez-Kapitän hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen.

Wir haben die Führung sehr genossen. Vor allem hat es uns gefallen, dass St.Pauli nicht nur auf "das Eine" reduziert wurde, sondern wir auch andere Aspekte dieses faszinierenden Viertels kennenlernen durften. Man spürt, dass der Führer hier zu Hause ist und das Viertel von klein auf kennengelernt hat. Wir finden die Führung hebt sich wohltuend von der teilweise etwas schrillen Konkurrenz ab.
