Day 1: Bishkek - Burana Tower - Konorchek canyon - Son Kol lake
Stop At: Bishkek, Bishkek
In the morning after pickup from your hotel we'll start our breathtaking journey to Son Kol. The road is gonna take us about 4 hours so picturesque views are ensured.

Stop At: Burana Tower, Don-Aryk, Tokmok 722201 Kyrgyzstan
On the way, stop in Tokmok town (80km) to have a glance at the famous Burana Tower. This ancient structure was built in the 11th century to serve as a watching tower and is therefore quite worth your visit. Here we’ll spend about 30 minutes enjoying a superb view from the top of the tower, walking around to see balbals (gravestones with depictions) and visiting the archaeology museum. Resuming the road.

Stop At: Konorchek Canyons, 125 km from Bishkek, Bishkek Kyrgyzstan
Visiting the picturesque Konorchek canyon for a light but awesome hike with some otherworldly views. Lunch on the way.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Song Kol Lake, Song Kol lake pionerskaya 20, Kochkor, 722600 Kyrgyzstan
Arrival at Son Kol through the serpentine mountain passes. Now it’s time to explore the lake itself, its green pastures and the landscape. Horseback riding on the alpine meadows. Dinner. Bonfire time and stargazing. Overnight in yurts (traditional Kyrgyz dwelling).

Day 2: Son Kol lake - Kochkor town - Orto Tokoi reservoir - Bishkek
Stop At: Song Kol Lake, Song Kol lake pionerskaya 20, Kochkor, 722600 Kyrgyzstan
In the morning after breakfast we’re going to start exploring Son Kol a bit deeper. Free time for walking around and even swimming (summer season). After several hours of perfect meditation we’re starting our way back to Bishkek. Descending down the mountain passes.

Stop At: Kochkor, Kochkor, Naryn Province
Lunch in Kochkor town. Moving on.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Orto-Tokoy Water Reservoir, Kochkor Kyrgyzstan
Stop by the turquoise Orto Tokoi reservoir. Moving on.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Bishkek, Bishkek
Arrival in the capital city. Drop off at your hotel (not included). This is the end of our short but charming tour, thank you very much!

The tour was amazing. We were accompanied on the tour by Sergei the driver and Nuriza the tour guide. Both of them were very kind, we enjoy a lot the time we spent with them. It takes many hours of car to get to the lake from Biskek, but the stops to see the Burana Tower and the canyon made it appear shorter, the car was very confortable and the landscapes were fascinating, so it definitively does worth. I will always remember riding a horse in a sunny morning on the shores of Lake Son Kol after sleeping in a yurt. Thanks for this unforgeatable experience!

I was able to add a day at Lake Issyk kul to the specified tour. This additional request was fulfilled without any problems. The nature and landscape during the whole tour were breathtaking and fascinating! Riding in the morning on the shores of Lake Son kul was almost meditative. After I discovered the offer on the internet, the contact with Ash was done very comfortably via Whatsapp! I really appreciated how quickly and competently he responded to my messages. Even when I asked for a one-day postponement three days before the tour, it was no problem. The payment was made without any problems at the hotel in Bishkek by his lovely assistant Aimer. I was accompanied on the tour by Alex the driver and Sezim the tour guide. It is unbelievable how committed both of them were and how much enthusiasm and heart and soul they put into this tour.
