The Movie Guys’ L.A. Film Locations Tour will take you to the locations where your favorite movies (and some TV shows!) were filmed. We’ve divided Los Angeles into Five sections: Hollywood, West Valley, East Valley, West Side and East Side. Once you book, we'll be in touch for you to pick one section. This way, you can see as much as possible in your time on tour. If we visited more than one section, we’d spend most of your time driving, not vacationing. Customizing the tour for your liking is crucial. In each section, I’ve listed 20-30 locations we could visit and you pick your top ten spots - those will be guaranteed! No reason for me to pick places from movies you don’t like or have never seen, YOU pick the locations and it’ll be a greatest hits of just the films you love. Then, tell me what other movies you like from the list and we’ll fill the three hours with those. No two tours are alike! Also, chances are you'll see a lot of other amazing L.A. landmarks along your route!

Your tour starts at a film location somewhere in your chosen section (this location will be decided after booking). We’ll meet you there at the time you booked and start showing you around town! Your tour ends at the same place it started (it's often good to pick a restaurant or bar so you can dine or have a drink there before or after your tour to continue your immersion in L.A. film history).

Paul has a vast knowledge of movie trivia! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, especially “Back to the Future” & “Halloween” film locations! He also pointed out tons of things along the way to the various locations we wanted to see!

Paul delivered the movie tour we wanted and then some. We gave him quite a complicated list (not knowing LA) and he put it together superbly. His knowledge of movies and the industry shone through. Bonus stops were much appreciated. Themed music and prepped videos and stills absolutely spot on. Respect for the neighborhoods and owners of the sights / sites we wanted to see was a nice touch. The autumnal leaves & bonus squirrels at every Halloween location must have taken a lot of organisation. Thanks!

We had the best time with Paul on The Movie Guys' LA Film Locations Tour! Paul was friendly, very knowledgeable, and communicative. He tailored the tour to our interests and even added some bonus locations. Paul indulged our silliness by helping us recreate some movie scenes (and even brought some props for the Pulp Fiction recreation). If you are a movie buff, this tour is a MUST! Paul will take you to where you want to go and what you want to see! Not only that, but he is also very interesting to talk to (about movies and more), so there were always good conversations (and movie trivia) in between the movie location stops. I highly recommend this very awesome tour!

I booked the horror location version of the tour for myself, husband and almost 5 year old daughter. From the moment I booked, the communication from Paul was above and beyond, he even went out of his way to include a location that he had never done before to make it the perfect tour for us. To get us in the Halloween spirit he also provided Halloween candy, this was such a lovely touch. Paul’s film knowledge was second to none and he happily pointed out other points of interest to us and other film locations which hadn’t been included in the itinerary. We enjoyed chatting away to Paul on a variety of topics as we went from location to location just as much as seeing the various sights and Paul was always happy to take pictures of us all so we had the perfect shots. Paul had even gone to the trouble of getting the actual film pictures on hand so we could compare the location to the films themselves, again this was above and beyond what we expected. I thoroughly recommend the company for horror fans or movie fans in general, you won’t be disappointed.

This was an amazing tour! Paul and I had the best time, talking movies and recreating dialogue from our favorite films during our excursion into the city. What a great way to see LA. Going to the scenes of your favorite movies is a blast. He even took a couple of movies that I mentioned that had not been on his tour, did his research and took me to those spots as well so it felt very personal and unique. I highly recommend this fantastic tour! Have fun!

What a fun way to see LA! Our guide, Paul, is knowledgeable and fun, driving us all over the city to see the locations we had selected and entertaining my kids and me with stories, insights and a huge number of random, fun facts about our favorite films and TV shows. We saw a bunch of iconic film and TV locations as we drove around so many neighborhoods and roads we have seen on the screen before. There is so much to see in LA, this is a fantastic way to see a lot of it in an enjoyable, conversational setting. Paul is a safe driver too, just saying! Recommended!

We highly recommend Paul’ Movie Guys’ tour. He will tailor the experience to your interest and take the extra time to make it special. We got to spend extra time at our locations of interests and really see Hollywood in a different light!

This tour was a fun and enjoyable experience that was definitely one of my favorite parts of my trip to California. This whirlwind location tour took us throughout so many different filming locations that is specifically catered to what you want to see! The tour felt incredibly thought-out, each time you approach a new location a song plays that correlates to the filming location. The tour guide was awesome, the setup was brilliant, and the experience was wonderful. Highly recommend!

I can’t recommend this tour enough. Having booked, Paul helped with planning a bespoke and viable itinerary for me and my 14 year old daughter.
We had an amazing time being taken to our favourite locations, whilst being informed and entertained by our highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide.
In addition to seeing film and tv locations, this is a great way to see LA. Having done a few tours whilst in California this was head and shoulders better than any of them.

This was a day to remember! Paul was funny, informative, and personalized our tour perfectly! We had so much fun re-enacting the scenes at the different locations and sharing our favorite movies during the drive around town. Seeing these special movie and TV moments up close and personal was thrilling and exciting. Highly recommend it!
