Julie our tour guide and expert local is the best tour guide I have ever experienced in my whole life! This was the absolute highlight of my trip. Try and do this at the beginning of your trip because it made it easier for me to find things that I wanted to do by getting the advice of locals.

My wife and I and another couple (from the USA) just completed an unbelievable tour of Morocco created by Morocco by Design (MBD). Keri Levitt and her crew (including Camila) thought of everything. After being whisked through passport control at the airport by the VIP team, we met Hamza, our guide, and Said, our driver, both of whom would become our very close friends while taking us everywhere on our tour in a new Mercedes van (including dropping us off and picking us up from all our lunches and dinners which MBD had prebooked, but which could by changed if we felt like something else). We stayed at the modern and beautiful Hotel Sahrai in Fez and the fantastic, centuries-old Villa de Orangers in the heart of Marrakesh, with the kindest staff we have ever met. The best thing about Morocco, in our opinion, are the unbelievably warm and welcoming people--they truly take pride in welcoming you, whether it's to their restaurant, shop, home (where we had dinner prepared by a food writer/chef) or just meeting them on the street. We felt totally safe everywhere we went and the food was delicious (water is totally safe in the hotels and bottled water is served everywhere else). The sights, sounds, smells and tastes (Moroccan spices are incredible). All of this was made possible by the efforts and planning of Morocco By Design, who can't recommend highly enough.

Julie our volunteer guide is so knowledgeable and has such a passion for architecture. Highly recommend. The exhibits are also very informative and included in tour ticket price. Only suggestion for MDPL is to start tour indoors on hot days as history section that started tour was at least 20 minutes long outside with nothing to see. That’s a long time standing in one place even in the shade. That aside come prepared with a hat, sunscreen and water!

I appreciate Howards knowledge of Miami’s buildings and architecture. There are several in Miami from the tour that still exist, such as the Fontainebleau. He’s very enthusiastic.

Julie lead us on an informative, nicely paced walking tour of the South Beach area. She included architectural details about the district as well as the historical/ political influences that affected Miami. She was engaging in her delivery. Very worthwhile tour
