He is a encyclopedia of French wines, world wines to compare, French/world history so you get a deep blend of comprehension of the origins of wine, its evolution, even facts about prohibition and wine during war eras. If it's not covered, just ask! It's not just about wine but French culture and gastronomy. Well its a part of French life. His flow is unscripted, conversational, full of fun anecdotes and laughter while you sip away!
Our boutique is designed in a French art deco old era design, with French antique furniture, relics, it feels like a space from old Paris. Paris Wine Co is simply charming. We love it!

Words can't even describe how amazing this was. Me personally not a wine person at all, I hate pretty much everything wine related in the US. But when in France you need some wine. These wines were hand selected for us based on the crowd he had that night and every single wine was impressive and very good all around. He is a great teacher and gives a "lesson" over wine for the first little but of the experience. He gave me more information about wine in 25 minutes than I've learned in years from other samplings or personal research. He pairs a cheese with each wine which makes you want to go on a cheese and wine diet for the rest of life. Everyone was quiet at first but had the whole room laughing and enjoying themselves by the end. 15/10 would recommend and would with no doubt do it again if I make it back to Paris!!

Completely uncomfortable experience, Nicolas seems to think he knows everything about cultures. Very opinionated as another reviewer said. I looked his certificates up he says he has on Linkedin and they don’t even exist. I guess you have to fake it until you make it Paris right. Nice wine and cheese but dishonest lying owner

I have been to a lot of wine tastings in France and Napa Valley. This was by far the most informative (but not in a boring way!). Nico is very knowledgeable and funny. The cheese paring was impeccable and the wines he selected were outstanding.

This truly is the only wine tasting event that you need to go to! You will not be disappointed! Not only are you tasting some of the finest wines, and understanding wine etiquette, but you get a history of the French wines.

this was a wonderful adventure. Our somelier, Nico, was very knowledgeable and he had a wonderful personality. We felt like we were at home and he explained everything perfectly. The wines were outstanding and I would highly recommend this adventure.

We were one of 3 pairs of tasters and there was a wide variety of "skills". Nicolas easily adapted and made it fun and educational for all! A great variety of French wines and cheeses! He made us laugh and he made us smarter! Wine nerds? Go! Wanna be's? GO!
