Omg everything about this tour was so great: fun, enlightening, a wild ride, villains and victors, and charming queer Irish facts. Conor was one of the best storytellers I’ve seen. Do yourself a favor and book this if you come to Dublin!

The guide told us about so many whimsical facts and important stories. We really enjoyed the delivery and even though, as you might already suspect, the stories were mostly pretty bleak, there were several light moments and the tour ended on a high note.

What a fantastic tour! Our favourite history tour in Dublin. Conor was an absolutely fantastic guide and it was amazing to get a queer perspective on Irish history. Loved it and highly recommend.

We are so happy we were able to get on this tour. Our guide Connor was captivating, sharing both acknowledged facts and historical gossip with humour and aplomb. He felt like a friend taking you around to all the best spots and sharing juicy details with you.

Our tour guide was very friendly, full of humor and positive energy. Exactly what you want during vacation. We visited many of Dublin's sight seeings and learned interesting facts about some gay people in Dublin.

We went on this tour with Tony as our guide. No better person to have as a guide. He made history come alive. He took us through the history of queer Dublin, and let us shared in both very joyous and very sad moments in time. Thank you Tony!
I lived in Dublin for 10 yrs and my husband is born and reared. Though I’m a historian and neither of us are strangers to the lgbt+ scene, we both came away with a completely new understanding of what it was like to be queer in Ireland pre- Celtic tiger, and we now see the city with broader eyes…
This walking tour is fascinating and enlightening but also very entertaining. Wether you are lgbtqia+ or not, a Dublin resident or from abroad, into history or not, this is a must if you want to glimpse parts of the real Dublin…

Certainly recommend this fun and interesting tour.
Queer history mingled with a more generic historical insight into Ireland's history, nicely conducted by Sean, who is great fun.
Thanks for a lovely afternoon in the rain!

It was great experience. The tour was informative and great fun.
The only confusion was finding the starting point, but we found each other in the end (was a great start to get to know the other participants).

This was a fascinating tour, some of which I knew but much of which I didn’t. Our guide was funny, insightful, irreverent and gave me a fresh perspective on the city. Highly recommended.

We took the Gay History tour and loved every minute of it! Sean is so knowledgeable and passionate about the subject but still made our tour funny and engaging. We really felt connected to a new (to us!) side of Dublin’s history. Would recommend this for anyone, not just a member of the LGBTQ community or someone unfamiliar with Dublin.
