Everyone in your booking must be a competent swimmer.
If not, please DO NOT continue booking. You will be refused service upon arrival for your own safety.
Small children must wear a lifejacket and share a swift tube with an adult if they are unable to swim.
Float down the beautiful Cowichan River in your choice of regular tube or kayak-style swift tube. The journey takes 2.5-3 hours and will take you under bridges and over gently tumbling rapids. At the end, our shuttle drivers will pick you up and bring you back to the Shack.

Absolutely lovely tubing experience. Nothing like rolling ;leisurely down the river, and Tube Shack took good care of us. Only wish we had gone a little earlier in the summer when the water might have been moving a little more swiftly. Don't miss this Vancouver Island experience!

The tube shack experience was perfect for us. We brought our own tubes and used the shuttle service with the discounted ice cream at cowabunga’s.
Used the online registration for both and both vendors provided their services seamlessly. Got wristbands at tube shack, lazily floated down the river with the whole family. Boarded the shuttle with ease and arrived at our destination, (riverside inn) had our delicious ice cream at cowabunga’s. The blueberry flavour is sooo good.
Enjoyed it all but did get sunburnt! Remember to load on the sunscreen!

We arrived and the girl in the shack told us to grab any float on the side of the building. We did we grabbed 7 of 7 tubes we were ready to go. The girl came over just as we were going to the dock and told us that we needed to pay an additional $10 each for the tubes we had chosen it was confusing. Because we were ready to go we paid. The staff needs to be more clear on difference of tubes.
The float was amazing the service was not.

We did the river tubing twice in July with our grandchildren and we all had a blast. The kids loved the mini rapids and the slow meandering float down the river. The staff at the Tube Shack was very helpful and thoughtful. Our special needs daughter dropped her water bottle into the lake while trying to get into her tube and the thoughtful young men on the jetty got it back for her and returned it when we got back from our trip down the river. The driver of the shuttle bus was very friendly and polite. Overall an exceptional experience. We also went tot he local ice cream shop the Tube Shack recommended and they had great ice cream and lovely staff who were very friendly, helpful and patient with kids placing their orders. Two wonderful days of loads of fun!

Had a wonderful afternoon , really easy to book online, parking was close by and the swim at the end was fantastic. Would definitely do again and wish we had longer to stay in the area it looked amazing

I took my cousins who were visiting from Ontario this past week. They absolutely loved it. They had 2 young kids with them also who absolutely loved it. Easy to book. Easy to pick up tubes. Float was about 3 hours and 15 min. I've been quote a few times over the years and have nothing negative to say about any of the times that I have gone. Great place. Great business.

Just the best day. 3 hours floating down a river with nothing to do. Bliss. Nature on the doorstep. Shuttle bus timely and clean. Staff helpful.

This was our family’s second time and it won’t be the last!! We had an amazing time. Booking was easy, checking in was fast and the staff are very friendly. Amazing experience!!

The WHOLE experience was the MOST FUN I've ever had in water!
We're getting a family pass for next year.
The Cowichan River is warm, the small rapids are FUN and you can laugh, swim, take pix with your waterproof camera of the picturesque homes along the river.
The tube choice is excellent and the shuttle service every 10 minutes is friendly.
I'm hooked for life!

Went for my 64th birthday. First time tubing! Had a blast. Can’t say enough how great it was. The staff were wonderful as was the shuttle driver. Definitely going back again. Just a perfect day!
