Itinerary
Over the course of 2 hours I will tell you part of the history of Portuguese Azulejos, how it became so important for us, who influenced us, which colors are most used in tiles in Porto and Portugal, the most visited attractions. In this wonderful experience you will also paint a tile that you will take with you at the end. Using a technique developed by me, it is possible to lift the tile 1H after the workshop ends.

Our instructor was very knowledgeable, approachable, helpful, and friendly. He gave just the right amount of information about the history of azulejo tiles and their importance in Portuguese culture. The tawny port cocktail was refreshing!

We went to a tile painting (with cocktails!) workshop and had a great couple of hours, we found out the history of the tiles in Portugal and what the colours mean. It was so interesting, we met some lovely people and we now have a keepsake tile to put in the garden to remind us of our trip.
Would definitely recommend doing a workshop here.

An absolutely fantastic afternoon. Painting our own, keep forever tiles. Probably the best activity I have ever done on holidays. The group were lovely and a reasonable size, brilliant cocktails too. The presenter was so enthusiastic about her subject, it really made you want to do well. LOVED IT.

Really fun activity! Easy to get to the location and very friendly staff. This is such a good unique activity to do while visiting Porto that gives you a great keepsake to take with you as well. I liked the small group atmosphere, friendliness of the instructor, and it was a good value. If you aren't super artistic either this activity is still very fun and you use carbon paper/tracing to make it much easier for intricate designs, so don't let that scare you off! Would highly recommend this as a fun and unique partial day activity while in Porto

My partner and I went for a tile painting workshop in late March and we absolutely loved it. Learning about the history of Porto and its tiles before getting to work designing, tracing and painting our own tiles under the helpful eyes of Daniella was fantastic. She made delicious cocktails and traditional Portuguese pastries to get us through the workshop and then glazed and fired our tiles ready to be picked up within a few hours. I’ve already recommended this workshop to a few friends who are visiting Porto later this year!
