Domus Arte's distinctive 2-hour Tile Workshop is an immersive journey into the heart of Portuguese heritage. In this workshop, you can experience the classic tile technique on 15cm x 15cm fired glass. We guarantee a quick and lasting result, always focused on the satisfaction of those who trust us.
The workshop takes place on the ground floor of Domus Arte, a space entirely dedicated to workshops and art exhibitions.

This was such a lovely workshop. Everyone was really nice and you could see Beatriz's passion for the subject in her way of teaching. You get such a lovely souvenir out of it as well!

Federica was great in giving us a bit of a background in tile painting and then guiding us through the process. The hours flew by so quickly aswell as you do need to focus on the tile. But again Federica was on hand constantly to give us guidance and support and steer us in the right approach.
100% recommend this as an activity for anyone visiting Porto.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Instructor Beatriz. She was delightful, knowledgeable, and friendly! Not only did we have an excellent experience learning how to tile paint, but also we learned about the history and culture of Portuguese tile painting. Beatriz took time to connect with everyone there and she gave drinks and delicious cookies. We highly recommend this everyone! It’s memorable and fun!!!

Such a fun experience! I went to this solo but didn't feel alone for long. Fernanda facilitated an inclusive environment and guided even the most novice artist to create a beautiful tile. The best part was how we were given outlines/examples but encouraged to tap our creative intuition. I can't wait to share my self made souvenir! Also, the store where The workshop is house has super cute knick knacks. Make sure to look around!

I had the best time with Fernanda learning about the history and evolution of Portuguese tiles! Painting my own tile created an original souvenir and will be a wonderful memory. Fernanda is a wonderful teacher and a fantastic artist.

This was a terrific way to spend a rainy afternoon in Porto. I happened to be the only in participating in this particular class, so I got a personal, hands on experience. Beatrice not only showed me how to paint the tiles with her expertise and artistry, but she also explained the rich history of the Portuguese tiles that are all over this amazing country. This was a great workshop and I got a wonderful souvenir of my time in Porto!

It was an exceptional experience. The cozy, very familiar atmosphere. I advise everyone to have this privilege of painting the typical Portuguese tiles. I left Domus Arte with a full heart. Every one need to try this. Thank so mush everybody 🤍

An fantastic Portuguese experience!
We learnt about the history, painted the tiles and were served a delicious Port wine with some snacks. Congratulations to the best team who welcomed us!
