We booked this tour at the last minute, as we didn’t get our fill after just one snorkel tour on Bora Bora’s lagoon (and we were crossing our fingers to perhaps be lucky enough to see a Manta Ray). The weather in Bora Bora was quite windy during our trip, so this increased the turbidity of the water while we were there. Nevertheless, Simon was able to successfully guide us to see a large group of eagle rays and even a Manta Ray. The experience was magical. Simon is very knowledgeable about the area and safety guidelines regarding how to approach sea life in a respectful way (no free diving, avoiding splashing, etc.). He is also very cognizant of different swimming ability levels and informs the group about the different conditions at each spot. We highly recommend this tour and wouldn’t hesitate to book with Simon again!

Excellent trip!!! Simon an Tom were the best. They made sure we found sites that we could safely snorkel and we saw an abundance of sealife.

This was a fabulous tour. We were on a cruise through the islands and they were the only ones to specifically target Manta Rays as a feature, plus they offered an afternoon tour which worked best for us due to when we'd come into port, so we booked them direct. It all was super easy: on-time pick-up from the pier, responsive via email when we confirmed the night before and had to adjust arrangements, small group (6 of us!), and amazing guide. The equipment was high quality... the fins were top and they had snorkeling masks for those that needed it. What sets this tour apart from the others in Bora Bora is that they target Manta Rays. I love to snorkel and had already seen lovely coral gardens, but I wanted something more. Our first stop was where Manta Rays like to visit so the fish of the area can "clean them". We were guided to stay at the top of the water and not dive down so we don't spook them, and we had plenty of time in the area to admire these amazing creatures. We saw 3 that day! The coral garden stop was also beautiful as he took us to a lovely spot where we followed him around a large area. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure all were enjoying themselves. FYI for others: I saw that they were happy to hold luggage at their office for another couple on our tour and they had showers there, etc so you can freshen up; so that looked convenient. Plus we had a non-swimmer in our group and he seemed to have a nice time especially since the boat has shade and is small enough where he could still admire the fish from the comfort of his seat. Overall, I'm a huge fan of this tour company and thank them!

We had the most amazing time! We did whale watching which was incredible, Simon was great and talked us through everything. We were happy just to see a whale but we were so lucky and got in the water with them. We booked the snorkelling trip for the next day too and saw manta rays, eagle rays and so many other fish. Very special 2 days! Thank you so much

I didn’t take this tour. It was cancelled. But this is literally the 30th text invite I’ve gotten just today and I can’t even block them as junk.

We booked an afternoon tour since the morning one was full and had a very nice and professional dive master born on the island to take us to 4 very nice spots. First one was near a motu and had classes of fish around nice corals, second one was watching a class of 9 eagle rays circling around for a long time, mostly the 2 of us being alone to watch, later we were joined by 2 other snorklers (just to demonstrate the quiteness….). Then we went to the so called Manta spot, but since it was afternoon we could not see any. Even if our guide tried really everything. Maruuru! The last part was a very beautiful snorkel swim at the reef in a coral garden in quite water, really really beautiful. We went also on this trip once around the hole island which is a very nice sight. In summary this was a lovely afternoon with great snorkeling, very private. Minimum participants are 4 and since we were just 2 we decided to pay for 4 and had a super private tour.

This tour is amazing, Simon is a very knowledgeable on the lagoon, fishes, corals etc and cares deeply of the environment. He is an excellent guide and showed us some of the best places. We saw Manta rays (2 of them) and large number of eagle rays. The ocean was rough with lot of waves, he helped us swim with a float and guided to the right place to see the huge manta rays. We then went to the coral garden, and he took us for a guided snorkeling of over 30 minutes, through the coral gardens - just spectacular and amazing. Simon showed and explained various types of corals. This is the best snorkeling tour, almost private with max 6 people and personal attention.

Highly recommend. Very easy to communicate with; always replied to our emails. Picked us up right on time. We liked that there were only 8 people plus two guides. Made for a more personal experience. Both guides were very nice and helpful and were so knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the whales. They were very respectful of the whales. We had an amazing time and throughly enjoyed our trip. Book with them. You will not regret it.

Our tour was led by Vincent, a 25-year resident of Bora Bora. Our group was split between French and American tourists, so he very kindly provided running commentary in both French and English. We started with snorkeling in a coral garden that is a fish nursery, then went to a spot to see huge manta rays, then looked and found a small group of eagle rays to finish our tour. Throughout, Vincent snorkeled with us, guiding us with his red life ring. He provided interesting commentary on the wildlife we saw and about the Bora Bora itself. Great time and highly recommend.

Wow, this was an incredible tour! From the get go I had clear and quick communication about what to bring and where to meet. We enjoyed a tour of the whole island, and stopped at 4-5 spots to snorkel with giant manta rays, sting rays and fish in the coral gardens, all away from other bigger tour groups. The tour went longer than the expected time because we found a big school of about twenty stingrays on the way back, so we stayed to snorkel with them. It was really magical. My husband and I are not strong swimmers, so we appreciated that he brought a floating device that we could hold on to. He pulled us along on it, to help us keep up with the group. We did a similar snorkel trip in Moorea and it was not as good as this one, in terms of the wildlife you saw and the attention to detail. My only regret is not having a gopro to capture all the amazing creatures we came across. All in all, highly recommend this tour if you want to see the best of bora bora!
