Hyuga was our guide and he was excellent, very friendly and easy to talk with.He had thoroughly researched our requests, including vegan food, and had an itinerary ready for us to follow very quickly. Our meal was superb and the areas we were taken to were explained clearly, whether it was Shrines, Temples or shopping areas. I would recommend Hyuga to anyone wanting a more personalised view of Tokyo.

Hyuga was our guide for 6 hours--He was at our hotel on time
He helped us with getting train tickets for an upcoming hike and our very own Suica cards
He was very informative and we learned a lot about navigating the train stations
Hyuga outlined the areas we could visit during our time and we managed all
Definitely helpful having a private guide especially with the language barrier

Gabrielle was our guide for Shibuya and Shinjuku in Tokyo. Her English and Japanese were both impeccable! We have had local tour guides during our thirty-plus years of travel all over the world. She was among the BEST! We gave Gabrielle a list of sites we wanted to see. In addition, she made other recommendations. We saw everything on our list and the recommended sites we would have missed had it not been for her recommendations. We would HIGHLY recommend this experience and ask for Gabrielle if she is available!

A visit that almost was not to be turned into a knowledgeable, awesomely fun and delish intro to a beautiful city/culture.
Blessedly lucky to have Noah as my local guide (last minute and for an afternoon into evening hours) on my layover in Japan this past April who expertly guided me on my must-see spots and must-see buys (Japanese handcrafted knives, Tokyo milk n cheese crackers, among others lol)
On what could easily have been a whirlwind of a time, Noah was patient, accommodating and amicable as he easily and with a no-worry vibe accompanied me to Asakusa, Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harjuku - with a stop for dinner and coffee!
If you can request, I highly recommend Noah!

Our guide Hichem was excellent. He is an Algerian PHD candidate, so we learned a lot about life in Japan from a foreigner’s perspective which was very interesting. We are older and coming off a major surgery, so we were somewhat limited physically which he was careful to allow for. We really liked what we saw and may return to investigate further at a slow pace. I am of Japanese descent so I wasn’t really interested in learning about the culture, so Hichem’s life here as a foreigner was really interesting.

We had a customised walking tour of Tokyo and the best part was that I organised exactly what I wanted with our amazing guide Andreas in advance. I had some quite specific needs (like sourcing a retro Japanese made portable radio in working order) and he really delivered by doing quality research. We had such a fun day due to Andreas.
