Stop At: Giraffe Centre, Duma Rd, Nairobi Kenya
After a pick up from your hotel or residency within Nairobi CBD, the tour begins with a visit to the giraffe center. Here you see the magnificent creatures and learn why they are endangered. You will also learn their behaviors, traits and more conservation education.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Nairobi National Park, Langata Road, Nairobi Kenya
After this, you will have about an hour for lunch (own expense), then you will go to the Nairobi National park through the main gate for a 3-hour game drive. Your guide will be aiming to show you as much variety of animals as possible. If you're lucky, you may spot the rhinos and lions getting ready for the evening. We use a safari van with a pop up roof for easier game viewing and not a small saloon car.
At around 5pm, you will depart the park and be brought back to your hotel or residency within Nairobi CBD.

Sadly, I expected this to be a much better experience than I received. Although the driver attended promptly at 6 am we then spent 40 minutes at the door of the Safari for him to try to pay for the tickets as clearly this was not organised.
The facility of the van was beyond disgusting.
Every part of it was either ripped torn or broken with the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat on.
It was dirty smelly and truly not a good place to be for six hours on bumpy roads.
Although the guide was knowledgeable, I have to say how I known how poor this experience would have been with him And if I had longer in Kenya I would’ve refused to use the vehicle.
to put into perspective. A brand-new vehicle from my hotel was only $50 more. Avoid avoid avoid.

For people with less time and budget this tour is a great option to experience wildlife. I optionally visited the Sheldrick elephant centre also. The day on arrival at airport they picked me and completed the tour as promised. I recommend this company for African wild life experiences.

Fantastic day out. The Nairobi National park was amazing with us seeing lions, giraffes, rhino and many many more. My favorite however was the David Sheldrick Wildlife trust. Our tour guide was excellent and even stopped at a shop to allow us to buy souvenirs and have a coffee break.

Very good explanation by the orphanage staff of what they do here, with lots of facts about these orphaned elephants!
Our tour was with Martin, our driver.

Excellent experience. I was in a business trip and stayed 1 day more in Nairobi
The park is really amazing, you will see a lot of animals
The orphanage for elephant is nice too
The giraffe centre is more for children from my point of view to feed giraffe in a zoo
Very nice driver

What a fabulous day. George was a great guide. We saw a huge number of rhinos in the park, including a hippo who joined a rhino family for play. George also took me to the elephant orphanage and the giraffe sanctuary, both of which were wonderful.

It started off negatively as there was confusion to the pickup time. I don’t know whether that was between Tripadvisor and Perfect Wilderness Tours and Safaris, but they showed up at the hotel at 6:30 am when it was scheduled at 8 am which led to some pretty frantic running around. After that, it was amazing. Our driver was in communication with other tours so knew exactly where to go for the best impact. We saw everything we wanted and more. Lionesses were walking by in close proximity. The elephant orphanage was an important stop as well as being educational. The giraffe center let you feed giraffes right out of your hand so everyone loved that.
